@Kab: I know exactly what you mean. If you'll notice, Shep's body language also seems a lot more open with her. A trademark of his is to lean back and cross his arms, which he does with Miri, but he does it more in the beginning of their relationship than toward the end. With Garrus and Miri is the only time he ever sits down and leans forward. Leaning towards someone is a big deal in body language. Granted, he doesn't have the opportunity to sit down with the other squadmates, if I recall, but I also don't remember him making gestures like that before a romance dialogue was initiated. There are more instances, but then again, I might just be reading too much into his body language. *shrugs*
He is much more relaxed with her than almost all other characters. He holds himself like he feels lighter and can relax. The only other character I ever saw this for in all of ME was Ash. He isn't afraid to let his guard down and let those two women see him without the Spectre/saviour mantel wieghing him down.
Maybe it's because he see's Miri/Ash as his equals. They're both strong enough that he doesn't need to be the big, tough Commander Shepard with them. He can just relax and be his self.

Now that I think about it... I have to agree. He did seem more open with Ash than even most of the squadmates in ME2. And I'm not even a huge Ash supporter. I like her, but I can definitely say I'm unbiased in this regard. I wonder if it has to do with the fact that they're both strong women? Shepard feels like he can be himself and not have to worry about being a role model or cure for them maybe?Kabraxal wrote...

Which is both interesting and poetic when you consider it is the same for both those women as well! They only open up around Shepard, someone they find to be both as strong as them as well as similar to them in many respects.

One of my friends was talking about Mass Effect 2 and I asked how many times he played it- only once! I said 'wth? you can't experience it all just playing once!"
too many games, so little time!! i keep buying new ones and still have a trillion old ones that I haven't touched yet. eek.. I need to win the lottery.

Ah, very good point Kab, I hadn't thought about it that way. It makes the respective relationships feel even stronger now.

Oh! Andy, we've started a petition to Bioware. We want Miranda to do the crump dance in ME3, sort of like Legion does the robot if you just stand near him for a while. Do we have your support? (You know you want to see it!)
Do you really need to ask? Miranda doing the crump dance would be amazing!

You QFT'ing my post put a big smile on my face btw. It's been too long since I've been QFT'd, about time I said something worthwhile, lol.
