Maybe it's because he see's Miri/Ash as his equals. They're both strong enough that he doesn't need to be the big, tough Commander Shepard with them. He can just relax and be his self.

Which is both interesting and poetic when you consider it is the same for both those women as well!  They only open up around Shepard, someone they find to be both as strong as them as well as similar to them in many respects.

Nothing wrong with being one of the clowns, I happen to belong to that particular faction.

I am again trying to stay loyal to my ME1 LI, Ash (want to see different story versions in ME3), so enter mission impossible (trying to ignore Miranda), previously I would get to Horizen and the Ash encounter makes the Miri avenue so much more inticing and I give up and go for Miri. This time I am determined to ignore Miranda and keep purely proffesional, I will most likely need to play the renegade role as i want to keep the collector base as well.



My main Shepard character is still solidly on team Miri!
