Man, ME2 left so many unanswered questions for me...its really driving me nuts. I wonder what the reprocussions will be for Miranda leaving Cerberus.

Yeah, you have to fear for Orianna since it was Cerberus that was protecting her IIRC. Could make for a very interesting story line in ME3.

Yeah, and a very dead Illusive Man if he messed with Miranda's family...and I'll kill her father for good measure too if he decides to show his mug.

Well theres a rumor that each squadmate will get an add-on to bridge ME2 to 3 and Miris one will most likely be to deal with her father once and for all.

Woah woah woah.

Source?  Because Bioware will have really outdone themselves if they do that.  One thing for sure it would show they understand exactly what makes their games better than any other company: it is the characters and the connection the player feels for them.

Speaking of which I would like to announce my fondness for this excellent tribute video:

Its a rumor, thats all. We will know if the rumor is true if the add-on to cure Thane is true. Christina said she was playing an add-on that would make female shepards very happy.

Tangentially related thought: there's speculation that Shepard's had Reaper tech implanted in him when he was brought back. I don't know if that specifically is true, but I do believe something bad and story-impacting was done to Shep as part of the Lazarus project. Otherwise, he might as well have been in a coma for all the impact being brought back from the dead had. If I'm right, things might be about to get very hot for Miranda.

One of these days, I will figure out why I'm always coming up with ideas that make Miranda closer to a villain.

I think that will be a big reveal. The thing is, the new book takes place before ME2 and that new book, TIM has Reaper tech and will be putting it on Paul Grayson. Shepard having Reaper tech in  him would fit because we realy don't know what was used to bring him back. We know there was cybernetics, the best madicine out there and the best tech. However we don't know what those cybernetics where made from, also since TIM has reaper tech Shepard having Reaper tech in him is not far fecthed.

Most likely it's for Thane or a Kaidan add-on and if it's Kaidan then there will be an Ashely one. If it is any of those then I would expect Bioware would make add-ons for certain characters because lets say Tali got one, but Jack did not. There would be a **** storm.

I've considered this idea before, but always went "nah!"...now I'm not so sure. I wonder if Shepard does have Reaper tech how it would play out. Could he be Indoctrinated easier at the most important moment by the Reapers?

Hey even one singular character based add-on would be one more than I was expecting.

If they do one for every character...well...I will start building my statue of Casey Hudson in my backyard.

Could be a build up for a noble sacerfice ending. We know that there has to be more then one ending. There needs to be the happy ending where everyone lives and we run under a rainbow. We need a ending where some people died, an ending where the Reapers win, a ending where Shepards LI dies and you have the option to commit suicide, and a sacerfice ending. If Bioware did this, then people would be happy, but if theres only two endings then alot of people will be disapointed.

How so? It's not like anyone could hold anything so perfect for longer than one night. Rather have it be final and the best right? Oh wait... What... I just...

Casey Hudson is not a bad guy, at least he listens to the fans unlike some product directors.......

Casey did say that alot of the add-ons will form a bridge between ME2 and 3.

Listen up everyone I've got something that needs to be said.

Over the past few days I've been the major offender in derailing this thread and taking it very much OT.  This came to a head yesterday when I spent the whole day joking around and barely saying anything that was on topic, if I said anything at all on topic.  As we all know this provoked a just reaction from other posters in the thread tired of the silliness I was helping to perpetrate.  Today I made an incredibly thoughtless comment that tarred everybody with the same brush.

I'd like to take this opportunity to apologize to everybody whom I have offended collectively, and to those I know I've offended, upset and/or disappointed I'd like to sincerely apologize.  Meg, I never meant to upset you or disappoint you in any way and I'm truly sorry that I've done so.  Rath, it was totally wrong of me to tar everyone with the brush of a catch-all phrase and I know I've offended you as well so for that, once again I am truly sorry.

In light of what's happened over the last few days and after talking it through with shinobi I felt it best that I leave this thread for a couple of days.  I actually said a week but shin talked me down to 3 days maximum...

This self-imposed thread exile begins effective immediately, so with that I shall see you all in 2 or 3 days and I hope that when I return things will have gone back to how they used to be.  Until then I bid you all a very fond farewell! :crying:

But it makes no sense.  TIM is testing out Reaper tech and he snatches Grayson to do so AFTER ME2...why would he need to test it when it was already tested on Commander Shepard.  Further wouldn't that testing have taken place before being used on his most important asset?

The time line simply doesn't work.

I understood Cerberus only gets access to using Reaper Tech after acquiring the data from the Collector Base.

If done right like DAO then I would be all for it. DAO sacerfice ending was very sad and if you romanced Leliana it hints that she commits suicide and if you leave Alistair to defend the gates and you sacerfice his life he becomes very misabrle.  I love DAO :wizard:

Ah yes, I remember reading an interview where something to that effect was mentioned. I think they realize that the ME1 DLC wasn't all that awesome and will do a much better job to bridge the two games. I also remember reading something that was like "by the time you're done playing ME2 DLC you will be ready to go right into ME3". I don't want to get all optimistic, but I can't help myself.

Someone please correct me, but I thought Retribution will be set before ME2?
