It's because of times like these that when people tell me that "the cloud is the future" and "you can do everything with google", I tell them there's no way I want everything I have only on the web. I love having my local data and local OS and local applications, thank you very much.

Here's another banner I kind of made out of the blue...not the greatest thing in the world. But, it will do for me.

Question for those of you who are writers: how do you psych yourself up for doing nasty things to your characters? I am having more than a little trouble doing what I need to do to Miranda.
BTW: 15 pages in 4 hours? Things are not as dead as I expected after rumors of many people leaving.
Yeah, we've been keeping things more on topic, it's been fun. By the way, I messed with a couple of your images up above, I think the first 2 were yours anyway. Hope you don't mind.
Why would I? It's very good work and looks more "artsy" than the originals. I like these very much.
@Everyone else who commented on my long post on page 594:
Thanks for your comments, I can't keep up discussion long at the moment - it's just pop in for half an hour, try to get the gist of what's going on, make one or two comments and then off to work or other things again. I wrote that long post on the train. Maybe things get better in the next few days.

Anyone else wonder why BioWare even made it possible for Miranda to die in the game? Kinda lame don't you think?

Completely agree. Not only should they have made her impossible to kill, they should have made her immortal (not just long lived).

Hey guys i was wondering how would win a fight between Miranda and Liara?Or Miranda and Ash?
I would have to say Liara would win in a biotic fight against Miranda. And that Miranda would win in just a plain fight against Ash.

Miranda...but how could I ever say that anyone else would beat her?

You gotta let me know how FF13 turns out...I'm on the fence with that game. Out of all the FFs since 6 only one I liked was 9.

That's not even a real question. Miranda would spank them both hard, and them make them submit fully to her deliciously devious will.
Seriously though, I don't believe either of them could ever beat Miranda. Though facing Liara's biotics could possibly make her sweat a bit.

Miranda would mop the floor with Liara. Liara is too inexperienced. Samara, on the other side, would mop the floor with Miranda (unpleasant as it is to admit) - the result of hundreds of years of fighting is not so easily matched.
Ashley would give Miranda a good fight but lose for lack of biotics.

Even though I play femsheps almost exclusively, I want to see Miranda in ME3 and more dlc missions with her because I converted her to the Shep side of the Force....I loved bring her to the final battle esp the speech she gives TIM.
Yeah the go *expletive* yourself answer she gave TiM makes me smile fondly every single time...plus I always end up giving TiM a verbal arse whoopin after the Suicide Mission.

I also often play femSheps. I used to do so almost exclusively, then Miranda came along and changed this. I would appreciate a little more friendship talk between a femShep and Miranda.Fiannawolf wrote...

That speech (verbal finger) Miranda gives to TIM always makes me feel so good.

Unfortunately, I do find the femShep romance options in ME2 unpleasant. No romance for my femSheps in ME2, and Rhea Shepard will, through no particular virtue, stay true to Kaidan. One reason why I would like more friendship talk with Miranda.MassAffected wrote...

Ah, I see...well I'll try to play through it as a female anyway.

Granted during the two years she spent on the Lazarus project she may not have had time to actually have one or a few but, she is 35(?) thats plenty of time to develop a few.

What are Miranda's hobbys?
Typing up reports.
But, like MassAffected said, she does enjoy classical music. So I guess listening to that could be a hobby.
Edit: Hmm creative things...well it's nice imagining* that she can play the violin or something. Or maybe the flute. That would be nice.

Hmm. That takes some thought. I can't see her playing an instrument. She'd be more into something like composing, in a way similar to what you can do today with a composer program and recorded samples, only more advanced. Yes, I can see her do that - she does the creative part and leaves the performance to the electronics.Flashy91 wrote...
yea I know the music part but what about creative types things ie, playing an instrument, painting etc.

Hmmm, I can see the violin for sure...I honestly don't think she has found any hobbies yet. It would have to be something she finds a challenge in doing. So far tho I think that listening to classical music is the more likely choice. I forget which one her favorite is, but I think she mentions it when talking about her sister.
