Does anyone else think the sex scene is rather the start of something than the end-result? I'd rather have other event happen to them, events not aiming at a sex-scene-culmination but building on it and continuing the story. I also agree with shinobi602 that it would be nice to have more than one opportunity (2 different scenes would be nice but probably too much to ask for). Something akin to how it's done in DAO would be nice.ToshiStation38 wrote...

Toshi, you are a much more patient man than I.
Mostly, because I'm not a man at all. But I'm also not patient enough to wait for the Miranda romance until ME3.
LOL
I read the first line and was like "Wait a minute... Meg isn't a girl?".
I dunno, I just think it will be better in the end. Sort of stretching it out over a longer time so the end-result (the sex <_<) will seem more rewarding and culminative.

Man, I can practically taste the Jacob hate... I'd never throw him out an airlock or kill him off, because I mean... it's not like he can compare to Shepard anyway..

Andy, when did spacing Jacob become a running joke? I feel so out of the loop...
Edit: @Flashy - I know it was [mostly] sarcasam, I basically just wanted an excuse to say that Jacob doesn't have s**** when it comes to Shep.

Well maybe it hasn't. That's the first time I've actually mentioned it but I've seen quite a few posts that involve Jacob going out of the airlock so I thought I'd throw that in at the end of my post for a cheap laugh, hehe.

It's been a few pages back, but I haven't seen the end of the contest, so here's my entry:Rathias0114 wrote...
I mean.. don't get me wrong.. I like the name but everyone at her old high school seems like a bunch of tools.
Anyways! CONTEST TIME!
If you could take Miranda out on a date (not knowing her tastes... because none of us do) but knowing what kind of woman she is... where would you take her?
Winner gets an excerpt!
On the afternoon, I would take her to a historical coffee bar in Venice, with hot chocolate and classical music. It would be during the carnival, and in the evening we would take part in a historical masked ball in one one the old palazzi. If it wasn't too cold, there would be a night-time gondola trip after that. If possible, on a full-moon night....

Fair enough, and I respect the honesty in admiting going in for the cheap laugh. It does paint a really hilarious picture, to be quite honest.
@Flashy: Should Jacob decide he wants to win Miranda back, I'd welcome the challenge honestly. A little drama never hurt anyone. Actually, that's a lie...it's probably hurt alot of people, but that's beside the point...
Besides, should he- heaven forbid- start to suceed, three words: Pistols.At.Dawn.

I've arrived just in time for some Jacob hating. I've always had a feeling that there's more to him, that he's is more than just badly written anti-Mary Sue. Him being suicidal for once, and him refusing to talk about it sure point to some possible character development. Alas, did not happen. And there's no hard proof it ever will, so I can't play devil's advocate here. Sorry, Jacob...
...Back to Miranda.
At the beginning I thought there would be an option to help them get back together (if you refuse to romance both Jacob and Miranda). Did not work out, and now I think it for the best. Miranda and Jacob are in defferent leagues, she would not be content with sticking with him, no mater how nice a guy he is.
I wonder if Miri/Jacob romace will be implemented in ME3, AND if there'll be an option for the extra nosey Shepard to talk her out of it.
