Is it possible that Miranda might have a surrogate mother and her father kept that information in secret away from Miranda?

I really hope the whole Cerberus/Miranda/Orianna/Mr. Lawson thing is delt with in ME3/a DLC/ME2 bridging expansion. All those people who killed her will just miss out.

Belittling her as a spoiled female is the best way to dismiss her.  If you dislike her because she works for an evil organization, and is in denial about it, or is ruthless or whatever implies a level of respect for her competence...and requires you actually put a little bit of thought into why you dislike the character.

Agreed there are many real reasons one could find to dislike her, but seeing as the usual post by people the don't like her is borderline spelled in some language that doesn't exist... Lets just say I've seen some of the more intelegent ones and they had good points

I don't really see too much Miranda hate to be honest...just every now and then from a handful of people (mostly from the Tali thread).

Do I want MIranda to do that? I don't know. Perhaps it would be more correct to say I want Miranda to have the chance. I'd rather have him go out the airlock and be done with it.

And these people you speak of - they haven't got any imagination. As if things for which anyone would deserve death weren't done to daughters by their fathers, of any social stratum whatsoever, in the real world.

I don't think there are artificial wombs in the ME universe, so that there will have to be one. The big question is: is she still alive? And does she feel any connection with Miranda? Does she even know she exists?

There was that one dude that kept his daughter in the basement for the better part of her young adult/adult life doing terrible things to her...that deserves a lot more than death, but death would be a good start. Honestly, I think I hate Miranda's father more than TiM and we haven't even got a glimpse of him yet. I'm more than sure that if given the option to do the Renegade interrupt my Shepard will snap that dude's neck.
