Since where on the topic what is the hardest game you've ever played/finished?

I don't really know. I am RTS fan, but the games can't be really compared in the difficulty. Older games didn't have as many mechanics and features to counter the enemy and that way were bit hard, when you couldn't do as much. I prefer the new ones, because I get to tap myself on the back, when I pull off a move that completely causes the opposite side by surprise.

Doesn't really answer the question, but I have no answer. Too many games on my belt, the hardest one probably was something that I didn't enjoy and forgot it for that reason. :P

The harder difficulties on ME1 and ME2 turn those games into a grind...its almost like you're shooting nerf guns at the enemies for all the damage it does to them, I'll beat them on those just for the achievements, but I'll always enjoy normal more. Think about it, normal is how the game is MEANT to be played...its just my opinion tho, no need to go spread it around.

Are we talking about young gamer rage? Boy, I remember smashing my PS1 with a sledge because of this game called Brigandine...glad I'm not like that anymore. Also my latest moment came when playing Street Fighter 4. I beat Seth easily on hard mode, but on easy he went nuts on me...most imba SF boss ever imo. So I smashed the case. I'm in the 3-step program now and doing well ;p

I kicked my PCs side plate in, so it damaged the interior back in the day. Also threw monitor off the desk after some violent gaming session.  Fortunately those moments are in the past. I understand the value of the equipment too well to break it anymore. :D

Back it up then, you vs that boss, its beatable but it's still the hardest boss ever. Go play a genric FPS......

Bold for emphasis.

As to the 'generic FPS' remark. I'll ignore that simply because it'd turn into a 'political ****storm' in which someone will dramatically clench thier fist and send in the fleet.

I just ran around spraying my gun in ME lol. At least in ME2 you had to be smart and not be a moron.

Agreed, each for their own as said before. No need to downgrade other people's likings, just because you don't like them. ;)

I've only thrown a controller once. You'll never guess what game it was.

Any game is beatable Gutty, but they are harder then the rest and this is it. Face it, arcade boss's are hard and trying to remember where all those bullets shoot, like on the last stage is nearly imposable. Watch the last stage, the whole screan is covered in bullets, you need to either cheat or have uber skills.

We are going bit off topic here, but suppose it doesn't matter. As long as all the participants are up for it. Just hope Chuckaholism doesn't get pounded down in the future though.
And just because this page has been without the beauty, I shall grant thee a glimpse once again.

Very interesting post imo...

Thanks for directing me to that post Mav, I read it and I have to say that what is said there about the Tali thread is precisely what I think in regards to our own glorious Miri Loooooove!

I'm sure shinobi would agree with me, if he wasn't undergoing treatment in a psychiatric hospital.  It seems one of you *glares* sent him an email overloaded with Yvonne pics.  By the time anyone could get to him *sniffs* he was catatonic, just staring blankly at the screen...
