And I hope Bioware carries the romance over to ME3 and lets us develop
the already existing relationship further throughout the game, through
many more conversations and some missions that flesh out her past.

I think they will, the reason I think this is largely due to how they've handled 'new' ME2 games. In that the person whom is saved is the opposing sex member. That to me indicates they plan on allowing people whom started with ME2 to get LI with both the ME2 and ME1 people, I would imagine the same thing applies to people who start ME3.

My only concern on this matter is for those already in a relationship, I really hope they pull out the stops on it and none of this "Let's wait till that quiet moment before the storm" carp again. Am not saying to make it highly integral to the game, just more developed than the previous ones have been. Basically put, people who had an LI OR a potential LI (ie. flirted a bit but didn't go all the way) in ME or ME2 should have a different experience to those who are just starting out. I actually can understand them doing the "calm before the storm" moment for brand new LIs in ME3, but one thing I would say is that it needs to be more than just 3-4 conversations to unlock it.

Regarding the earlier comment about 'just being friends' this is one of the things that niggles me about ME2. They handled it brilliantly for Kelly but not really for any of the real LIs. From the get go you could pretty much choose to have the relationship with Kelly being on a professional, friendly or flirty path.

Yeah, I fired up a brand new ME2 game and canonically, you do seem to a)let the Council get nobbled and B) the opposing sex character valiantly bites the bullet. Don't know about whether Wrex survived or not - didn't get that far in the playthrough.

Poor old Darth is off at work this morning ,right? Let's hope he took his Star Destroyer...

I certainly did.  Didn't notice any snow on the way out, just a few craters nearby.  I'm sure there used to be buildings there...

He doesn't. I've been playing ME2 on the PC and had to start fresh because I played ME1 on the 360, so I didn't have a save. It seems every choice they made for a new game without save is renegade.

Did you choke anyone because of incompetence? Or out of frustration from being away from all the Miri Love? :P

That sucks! I like Wrex - he's a bit of an old warhorse, but damn does he have a sense of humour. Plus, I'd rather have him inside the tent pissing out, rather than outside the tent pissing in, if you get my drift.

Shep: Hey Wrex, you free next week?
Wrex: No, why?
Shep: Oh, I'm just getting the lads together. Garrus, Grunt, a few others and I are off to spoil a merc commander's life, just thought you might like to come along and kick some arse with big guns and big explosions  for old times sake.
Wrex: I'll be there.

For those moments when conscience gets the better of someone...

I know this pic has been used for 'Miranda disapproves' but I figured this also sums up the look.
Posted Image
(I was originally going to put "If looks could kill, you'd be dead right now!" but figured that would be a bit too harsh)

Can't remember if we got one of this with this statement already...
Posted Image

Took this screenie without any real thought until came to look at it this morning and with a ever so slight piece of editting and cropping turned it into something else
Posted Image

One of my favourite looks she gives, was just going to go with the Miri line, then I figured the slight altering of Shep's line make it quite good for usage on the boards.
Posted Image

:crying: because I just feel like sharing... felt sad doing it, but I just wanted to personally experience it.
Posted Image

I really like how she looks in this pic (Garrus recruitment when letting that stupid idiot kid signup, that's him just walking by her)
Posted Image

Aww... I think am just going to have to record this cut-scene when I next play it, as I just love it.
Posted Image

Another of those... "I can kill you with my mind" kind of pics

So, for when Rath and Meg decide to check up on us again, how's the fanfic coming along?

Easy to do - I get to look at her every time I look at my PC desktop.

Hey, great selection of pics Ulrich. I love Yvonne's voice when she says Ah, Jacob. It is 'teh hotness' as they say. If only she wasn't saying HIS name, eh?

Hmm, seems Rath's "Fanfic senses" are failing him. Maybe they don't work when he's asleep...

Not this time I don't think. Seems like they're too close to the end and have run out of excerpts that don't give everything away.

So to them I say this: hurry up and finish the damned story so I can read it in it's entirety!

Absolutely, I can't wait to read the full thing. Having said that, I don't want them to rush, I'd rather them take their time and deliver a final product of superior quality.

Haha, never know. We still have one major section to write... then begins the run revision/tweaking phase.
