Awesome short fic dude, so sad, but ultimately very moving. I actually got chills as I read it. The way it was written from Thane's POV remembering the suicide mission is so original and I just don't have enough good things to say.

I'm in the end of Chuck's season 2 and it's really getting great. I started liking it a bit after I started watching it but now I'm really getting into it.

 Oh Meg, I almost forgot. I finished the pic last night but I don't like the way it came out. PC version has so many issues with the shadows that I couldn't fix all of them. 


As a bonus, I made this for anyone looking for a new wallpaper, a background for a sig or...whatever.


@Mass: Glad you liked it. Might write the second chapter this week.

@Meg: But the first one isn't good! The original screenshot was so dark and the colors were muted. Lol, I spent an hour trying to clear up the shadows on her chest since they look so red but without success. I'll try again with Shinobi's pic.

Well, I get bored and its good practice. Still miss my old sketchbook and pencils but I have to upgrade  Besides, we are running out of things to discuss so posting pics seems to work well. Hm, come to think of it, I should work on the rabbit spoof...

Maybe in a brief lull, when Shepard or Miri falls or is knocked over by the other to be saved.  I could see a... "marry me" moment.

Hm. That's actually a difficult question to answer.

I could see him doing it way down the line after the Reaper's were taken care of and mostly everyone on the crew had gone on to pursue their own goals/missions.

Like jtav said, I could definitely see him doing it in the middle of combat. I could also see him doing it as they laid in bed one night.

I believe they will get married eventually. I'm not  sure they'll ever settle down in one place and become suburban types or whatever the equivalent is in the future of the ME universe. Their kid would almost certainly be a spacer kid... unless both Shepard and Miranda had an really good reason to settle in one place.

I really don't know. It's hard to say.

He does still have that apartment, if you did Pinacle Station...would be a nice place to come "home" and relax before racing off to fix someone else's problems.

This is actually how I picture it, err my Shepard doing it. Would be very awesome and in a certain way romantic. I'm thinking kind of like the scene in MGS4 with Meryl and Johnny where they are fighting a bunch of bad guys and I believe he pops the question.
