@Valmy: I think BioWare said they would announce some ME2 related stuff, like DLC at GDC. And I'm also upset that the most recent DLC was a heavy weapon even though it's a useful one.

Meh useless to me. I never use heavy weapons until the suicide mission. I like the 100 credits.

I'm really starting to hate Liara because of a couple of people. I used to kind of like her, and I don't want to become bitter if I Miranda doesn't get the kind of role I want.

Ah yes I understand.
Well the difference is that it is almost certain Liara will be back in ME3. If Miranda is not in ME3 she will likely never appear in the ME universe in a meaningful way again. So it really doesn't matter at that point.

Some get defensive... but the people I know are so because of the numerous bashing threads that have come along. It is much like the whole "Ash is a racist ****" drama that plagued the forums for a long, long time. I would have similar problems if the same bashing went into overdrive with Miri.

Never understood the need for other people to make "bashing" threads. If you don't like a character, no need to insult people who do. I like Miranda, I like Liara, I like Tali, and even if I didn't I don't need to go pick a fight with their fans. Some people need to just grow up. :/

Well here's a good side to wanting Miranda in ME3 as a squadmate and continued LI: I BioWare doesn't ensure the big return of all the key squadmates and LI's, they will recieve tons of heat and negativity, not to mention possible sales losses. Hooray for statistics ^^

Man...I am so tired of the loser drama queen freaks who whine endlessly about how much they hate certain characters in Bioware games. It has been going on since Baldur's Gate...the first one...I guess I should be happy there are people with so little bad going on their lives they can be outraged there was a character they didn't care for.
It especially drives me nuts how they just make up stuff or WAY exaggerate some tiny trait. I mean not only are they haters but they border on illiterate and insane.

Agree. I mean, there are a couple of characters throughout Bioware history that I hate, but I have to make one thread about it. Hell, I think I've made maybe 10 total comments about my hatred for them. I'm too busy drooling over Ash and Miri.

I liked Viconia. What I thought was funny is how they kept preaching you shouldn't think she is evil and dangerous just because she is a Drow...of course she is evil down to her black black little heart and she worships a Goddess who wants to plunge the world into eternal darkness...but still who are we to judge?

Last year I broke out BG1 and ran all the way until Throne of Bhaal before burning out. Still fun after all these years.
They just don't make them like that anymore.
