Man...I feel like I killed the thread.
There had been one non-me post in the previous 40 minutes.
Sorry I will have to adjust with this thread not moving along at the usual clip.
Yes, things are moving more slowly. But that's no indication that there are fewer Miranda fans - it's only that our "Character fan fanaticism index" (1.19, calculated as total thread pages per group member, over all existing threads for the same character) is about half that of the Kaidan and Tali fans (~2.3). I consider that a good thing. But forum life would be still easier as a Thane fan (0.09).

Inspiring? Because the repetition cycles are shorter? Or the percentage of OT material higher?Valmy wrote...

(Disclaimer: I like Kaidan - and they do have some interesting fan art, 90% of which I am, unfortunately, unable to appreciate)
@DarthReavus:
I bow to your superior wisdom.

I've brought this up a couple of times, but was I the only one who expected Miranda to stab you in the back? She was ringing a lot of alarm bells for me up through her resignation.
Well I was romancing her and I felt she really loved my character...and well I am blind to the machinations of women in RL and in games...but I trusted her. I didn't trust her at first but her darn loyalty quest melted my black little heart. I was personally touched when she resigned from Cerberus. I thought she did it because she
Of course I didn't know at the time she will oppose keeping the base whether or not she likes your character or not, she doesn't even have to be loyal. Miranda just sees the base and reaches her own conclusion it has to be destroyed. Not sure if I think that is a good or bad in the context of the game.

That's interesting. No, I never expected that. I only considered the possibility, but thought it was a rather remote one.jtav wrote...

And if she does it in ME3, I don't know what I'll do. I hope she won't.

Yes! I thought she was going to stab Shepard in the back when I first met her. That is the reason why I romanced her, thinking that if I did that, she wouldn't stab Shepard in the back lol.
Oh and Good morning everyone. I see the thread didn't grow very much last night haha.

Yeah, my first reaction was "gifted, extremely attractive and dedicated ice queen. Hi, Bast--I mean, Miranda." The only question for me was whether she was planning to betray me all along, I no longer think she'll betray you in ME3, but if I could get a Star Forge style confrontation and declaration of love out of it, I say "Bring it on"

Yeah I never did get to tell Miri I loved her. Shepard always wimps out and only says he cares for people.

Time to start the petition for an "I love you" conversation option in ME3!

Perhaps they kept Shepard from saying that in the first two games in preparation for a big ILY scene in ME3.
The only time I heard anybody say that in ME is in the e-mail Ashley sent me saying that she loved me.
I guess Miri says in an indirect way she is falling in love with Shepard. 'What crazy hormones decided this would be a good time for love?' or whatever.
