Also in most relationships you are not spending almost all your time together for weeks and months at a time out there risking your lives together in battle.  Sure if you are dating it might be sorta soon...but Miranda and Shepard and not dating they are spending all their time together sharing life and death decisions on a daily basis.  That tends to bring people together.

How could I disagree with an option? As long as there's one I like I don't care about how many others are there. But yes, I'd like another option with the same reality but another way to express it.

I wouldn't have a clue on as to what Miranda and Shep would say... depends on the timescale between ME2 and ME3. I wouldn't have whatever 'magic word' option only be available to single LI Sheps. That would annoy waay too many players.

As for the issue of the "I love you" conversation in ME3, I'm in two minds about it.  The hopeless romantic in me really wants to see it, but part of me hopes for a different dynamic between the two.  In short, while they intrinsically know that they love each other they don't feel the need to hear it said aloud, they just know and that's enough for them.

I couldn't have said it any better!!!

They wouldn't do that.  No way.  Especially since the new ME2 players wouldn't have that relationship going.
