So what I'm taking away from this thread right now is that I really need to play DA:O.
DA:O is wonderful. Looking forward to the expansion next week.
It is twice as long as ME2 though.
Expansion is going to be epic! I can't wait.

All I know is that the expansion is going to focus more on the story then the character uunlike DAO where it was more focused on the characters, the main atory was nopt that good, the civil war plot now was fantastic.

Yeah, I was really hoping for some Morrigan DLC. It's also annoying that we're getting an almost entirely new squad! Let's hope BioWare buck that trend for ME3.

ME3 is not an expansion and is not using the same system, so don't worry about it. The expansion is oging to focus on destorying the Darkspawn once and for all so we have a new threat in DAO2.

Hey, Leliana was my girl too. I just had 5 different playthroughs so I experienced all the stories.

Not so sure on that. By my reckoning we still have two more Blights to defeat before the Darkspawn threat is truly destroyed.kraidy1117 wrote...

Andy, Morrigan DLC would be good, simply because my character fathered the child with her, even though he was courting Leliana. At least Leliana didn't mind! Did you harden Leliana's character or leave her as a total sweety?

Not true, the Archtect wants to kill the last two Archdemons and in the expansion we will be meeting him. Bioware knows that if they puyll a new blight in DAO2 not alot of people will be happy.

It only makes logical sense that an expansion about rebuilding the Grey Wardens would, you know, involve recruiting new Grey Wardens. I find it sort of bizarre how angry people are. They loved the first squad so why wouldn't they love the new guys? They are written by the same people.

kraidy, by the next Blight we'd probably be in DA:O 7, lol. The odds of two Blights in the 30ish years remaining to Alistair and the Warden are astronomical!
Just saying, Bioware is doing this with the Archeitect and he wants to kill the last two old gods. The only reason why the Wardens are scared of him is because his whole goal is to make everyone half darkspawn, as he does with Utha. Most likely these Desciples that we are going to meet are infact old Gray Wardens who took his offer. I am just going by the plot and the way Bioware is doing it, it looks like they want to finish the Darkspawn threat. Having a new blight in any new DAO game, no matter if it's DAO10 would do alot of harm.

That would just be...too good to be true.
But in any case they clearly really like each other, even if just platonically, and it really shows onscreen. They just crackle with chemistry.

It was one of the sweetest things ever when she says 'you are my best friend and my love' right before you go off for the end game sequence. I tell ya I could have run through a brick wall of darkspawn after that.

Honestly, with the way that phrase is tossed around so casually nowadays, it feels empty and meaningless to me. I really don't want it thrown in there.
Huh?
Tossed around casually? It seems to me that in fiction people have some sort of bizarre complex about saying it.
I say it all the time in real life and I mean it. Not sure what you mean by 'empty and meaningless'? You want to say something about that? Because I honestly have no clue what you mean.
Sorry, but I can only visit the forum on occasion, so it can take a while for me to reply. As I said, I need a smartphone since I'm always going to places with no wifi.
What I mean by empty and meaningless is that I see many people, especially younger generations, constantly saying that to their friends for the most insignificant things, dilluting the meaning of it.
Also, from my experience in relationships and those of people I know, usually it's those that say it the least that feel it the most. A person can say it all they want, if they don't act like it, it's meaningless.
As I said before on this subject, actions speak louder than words, and I feel that showing that feeling somehow, by doing something that demonstrates to the other person how you feel, is much better that saying anything.
Now, I don't know about your case as I don't know you personally. I'm just giving my opinion based on what I've seen and experienced.

I realy hope the last battle between the Reapers give us feelings like that, I realy want to hear Miri say these three words, I love you. It might be out of character but it would make sence in the final battle.
