But...I love her veneer of business and professionalism. She does not crack when jack goes ape**** on her in the office. She does not deign to respond to the sophomoric pejoratives that jack spits at her.
Even if jack could kick her butt (I suspect she might be able to do so) I think Miranda would be far cooler by not giving jack the satisfaction of showing pain or defeat.

Don't diss Garrus, that was not his fault. He was lured out by a false lead, the same can be said for Shepard since he left the ship and the whole crew (expect for Joker) was taken.

Garrus is presented with many good qualities, but even though he's presented as a natural leader choice in the game I think his nature is too brooding and individualistic to be a functional leader. I don't know, if I wanted to send them on a mission as squadleaders I think I would be less worried about Miranda keeping the squad together and on target than Garrus.
All she had going against her was the fact that she could've been perceived as a Cerberus broiler by the other members of the squad. But after omega4 that's a non-issue unless you're a true Renegade.

Yeah that is pretty awkward that the LI can never call Shepard by his/her first name.
