What I meant was, like a code phrase, of sorts. You know how on Chuck, Bryce would say to Sarah, "It hurts to say goodbye"? That was like his way of saying, "I love you." And on the movie Ghost, Demi Moore would tell Patrick Swayze "I love you" and he would reply with, "Ditto." I could see them having some secret phrase that would seem completely random or meaningless to anyone who heard it, but mean a great deal to the both of them.

Maybe I'm just crazy though.

I can totally see them doing that.

The scene at the Normandy airlock is great, with both looking at each other in this way. Only the lighting isn't optimal, but then, considering the location I can hardly complain

Maybe something as simple as "Promise?" "Promise." Not sure how that would work if you went "no promises" though, that's why I suggested the other form.
