That sucks flashy :(

I might know what's wrong, something similar happened to me a couple years back. You either need a new modem, a new router, or you need a better fiber-optic cable or whatever they're called. The cable goes thru your house and connects to your modem I think.

At least I think that's the problem. If it isn't don't come after me!! Lol

Flash...you tried disconnecting your router (unplug it completly) for a few mins? Usually fixes most router issues.

A lot of people seem to be having internet issues though.  Across here and my other boards, I've seen at least 30 people complain about spotty connections today.

@Kab: While the connections on these forums are shoddy sometimes, I don't think that's Flashy's issue.

And like I said flash, don't come after me if you can't fix it :o

nah I won't jump ya Badger, can't say the same for the manufacturer of the router tho.... And yea as far as I can tell my settings are good, but when you think maker of horrible wireless routers whats the first name that pops into your head? your answer may support my theory

So, anyone who has seen "Chuck vs the Colonel" since playing Mass Effect 2... did you get as much of a laugh out of Stahovski's "The floor is gross and I'm not making you sleep there" line as I did?

Agent Walker is clearly more considerate than Operative Lawson.

@Flashy: Well, I don't know bad router manufacturers, but I know the two best are Linksys and Netgear. I myself have a Linksys N+ router, don't know the model name/number off the top of my head. N+ is the best level of any router with the most bandwith space and highest speeds. So yea either Linksys or Netgear N+ routers are the best, you just gotta look up specific models to find the best one. Same manufacturers for modems too, I got a Linksys modem. Glad to be of service :)

@Flashy: I had a Belkin and it did that CONSTANTLY. I could barely visit this site or any content heavy site without it booting me off. I finally got a Netgear a month or so ago and haven't had a problem since.
