Yes....but what kind of quality DLC? Even more team members? I'll probably buy her just to have a complete collection, but ME2 doesn't need another team member - I'd rather they do something more with the existing ones - Miranda being top priority of course but it would be appreciated for anyone but Jacob. I also heard she's like Zaeed - not much in the way of interaction. That's disappointing.Collider wrote...
Personally, I would buy it because I expect the quality to be both top notch and the fact that it may further Bioware's efforts or ability to produce more quality DLC.gutty47 wrote...
I'm wondering if the sales of Kasumi DLC will change Bioware's plans on large amounts of DLC. I'm basically meta-gaming with my decision to buy it. I want sales to be large enough to permit Bioware to commit to more amounts of content.

Why not Jacob? He is the one in most need of some DLC to expand his character. Something about his Corsair days would instantly make him more interesting to me.Ieldra2 wrote...

Yea, I was surprised he didn't really mention his corsair days in detail. It could have made for some interesting stories. On the subject of Jacob, why not DLC for every character? Preferably a pack instead of individually. I did read that Bioware may release DLC that bridges ME2 to ME3 anyway.gutty47 wrote...

Man poor Jacob... he can't be my numero uno bro because of Garrus, I'm taking his girl, he almost never gets to leave the ship... guy gets shafted. :/

I believe they will never individually release character missions. It doesn't make business sense because otherwise lots of the character packs will only be bought by outright fans of the characters and I don't think there is enough fanatics to make it profitable. Bundling them together would get all the fanatics to buy it plus it would be more appealing to the less fanatical players (more missions = win obviously).Collider wrote...

I had him in my core team in my recent playthrough. He's extremely useful together with Miranda and a Sentinel Shepard. So yes, more depth would be appreciated. But he's already established as somewhat boring, it would be hard to overcome the impression created by his existing aspects.gutty47 wrote...

As for character centered missions, yes, I also think we probably won't see them. On the other side, multi-character mission packs are big projects, so I also don't think we'll see that. ...Uh...pessimistic, aren't I? But if all DLC content we'll get are more Zaeed-like team members and some oh-so-cool new weapons nobody needs, then I think I'm entitled to some pessimism. At least there's the Hammerhead to look forward to.

Would you guys prefer more story-driven DLC that develops the whole Reaper plot further, or more character-driven DLC that elaborates further on each character or the crew as a whole?
Ideally, Bioware may not want DLC that is vital for ME3 considering the people who don't have the Cerberus Network, won't buy the CN, or can't buy/use the CN due to live not working or able to work. I think learning more about the reapers would be fine, but I'm not sure about the more important stuff considering those players aforementioned. As for character-driven DLC, sure. I would like some recognition for the romances if so...but then again it may be best if that is left for ME3.

That's a really hard question to ask, for the Reaper plot desperately needs extension and more depth, but characters' profiles would also benefit very much.MegWithAMouth wrote...

In the end, given how litte main plot ME2 has offered, I'd prefer the former.

I'm buying the new dlc. I don't really mind paying a few bucks for it. I know it cost money to make games and these guys (bioware) would like to get pay for doing it. Plus it shows my support for the great games they make. If you can't afford to buy it, that's understandable too...save your money for important stuff.
Meg: I would like both dlc...to me any dlc that extends my playing time on a game i truly enjoy like ME2, I think is great.

Hes only boring because they ignored the interesting parts of his backstory. He was part of a black ops group, the Corsairs, and he survived Eden Prime. He also was the main protagonist of ME Galaxy. I think it would fairly easy to remove his 'boring' persona if they actually dealt with his background.Ieldra2 wrote...

I agree, most, if not all the characters are like that really, if you take the time to learn about their background and stuff. I mean I liked Miranda cause the way she looked like most guys when I started to play this game, but once I learn her background and what she was all about, i was just amazed at the complex story detail on these characters. I know some of these "problems" they have are alittle cliche (daddy issues's), but it helps to picture the whole story about the character and the ME universe where they live.

I think the Reaper plot should be saved for ME3 but I definitely want character DLC. I want them to expand on he current squad ready to bridge the gap to the next game. I wouldn't mind some Ashley/Kaidan/Liara DLC either.

The edges need to be blended in more and you'd probably have to find a Shepard face that has a better angle.

I think Vandershep is hot and all, but it's just wrong to mess with Daniel Craig like that. I don't think I'll ever be able to look at this picture the same again.

Thanks, also it took me like 20 minutes, so it was a bit of a rushed job.
If I had Photoshop it would have looked much better, but I only have this Free program called Paint.Net, which at least has layers, but not lining tools which makes it dificult to blend and soften lines.

I hope Miranda gets to wear one of those tight black evening dress' and then she has to ask Shepard, "Where am I suppose to hide my gun?"

Sadly, I don't think we'll get that. I don't think anything will be done with existing characters in the new DLC. Probably they won't even have one additional line of text.
Apart from that, I think the new character sounds cool, and is worth buying for herself. It's only that there already are too many team members. But being able to see Miranda in new surroundings does help the appeal.
