I thought I'd love the PS3 only games, but... I can get them for cheaper for PC and none of the console games last even close as long as my PC ones. I mean like.. Rome:Total War? You can replay that for 4 years, if you just care about the subject. Mass Effect 2 is on Xbox too, but meh.. Wouldn't work for me.



MGS4 would be epic though, but sadly I went on and watched Let's Play of it, before I bought it... God of War 3 might be one, but I'll wait till it costs less than 60 euros. Now the regret is kicking in, I could've bought new motherboard and videocard for my PC with all that money.

I never understood why people were in such an uproar about Miranda, I always liked her, she's got spirit! My little brunette spitfire, gotta love her!

 And now when I finally thought I found a place where I wasn't constantly reminded about my Chuck addiction or about Mass Effect 2... ( watched sxephil's videos on youtube without understanding much, but laughed anyway ) I ran into ME 2 review of his and of course he listed Yvonne Strahovski and shew a picture, so both things were crushed!

So, I'm just curious. Is there anyone here who loves Miranda, but didn't romance her? Or likes her better when you don't play with her as your Shep's romance? Is there anyone who plays a femShep most of the time and still appreciates her character?



I've only ever played as VanderShep and felt that I didn't get as much out of MIranda's character when I wasn't romancing her. But that might just be because I love her romance so much that I'm biased toward any option that doesn't go that route.

I've only not romanced Miranda once and I thought her character seemed lacking a little then. As you say, it may just because I enjoy her romance so much though. I'd go into specifics but I can't remember any of the details now, it's that long since I did that playthrough, hehe.

Pretty much this. I hate that I can't befriend potential LIs, even the ones not for my gender, they just say their line after their loyalty mission and that's it. Then again, I'm currently running an Infiltrator through ME1 with the intention of romancing Miranda.

Yeah, that's very true. It sucks because I could definitely see Miranda being the female version of Garrus to femSheps. Maybe that will be something they work on a bit for ME3. Hopefully. Because I also liked Jack and Tali, but I never romance them so after their loyalty missions, like you said Jedi, I just stop talking to them. Otherwise I get told to f off by Jack and Tali makes me feel bad.

lol I know exactly what you mean. I had to watch Jack's romance on youtube just because every time I started a playthrough intending to romance her, I somehow ended up with Miranda. It was a miracle the one time I did Tali's romance.

Were they? In an uproar, I mean? I've seen little of Miranda hate, particularly compared to Tali.

I to have done 4 playthroughs and only managed to avoid romancing Miri when I romanced Tali. I was all set to romance Jack as my renegade Shep but I did something wrong and she wouldn't talk to me anymore...luckily a certain Miss Lawson would.

What do you mean Valdrane? I see very little Miranda hate as opposed to other characters.

If Tali was a little older, I'd really have a tough time picking lol. As it is, there's too much of the kid sister vibe. Or as I say, "I love Tali, but not that way."

I can honestly say I loved her from the very start, I couldn't wait to break down the walls around her and find out what made her tick, hehe.

I'm so glad BioWare didn't let us down and wrote such a great story and personality for Miranda, it's great that so many people have ended up liking her so much more than they thought.

Now then BW, make sure you don't let us down for ME3.
