Every character seems to have a pretty distinct personality. I'm really spoiled by BioWare games in that regard. Really need DA:O but I'm going to finish another Baldur's Gate II/Throne of Bhaal runthrough first...

Same here. But I do have to say that closer to release, she did start piquing my interests more. I still thought I would hate her though. I couldn't be more happy to have been so wrong.

Am I missing something? After her loyalty mission, from what I've seen, it kinda just seems like she wants to jump your bones only. Is there more to her relationship with Shepard then that? I'll admit I haven't played the full romance but I've seen vids and it seems to lack, I don't know, substance?

Have you guys seen this? It's not much, but it's nice to know that BioWare are taking the forums seriously. It makes me feel a little more optimistic.

Here's a segment from the article for those who don't want to take a look:

The streamlined gameplay and GUI of Mass Effect 2 made it a huge critical success, but Norman pointed out some major criticisms from vocal members of the official BioWare forums. Threads titled "Mass Effect 2 is not an RPG" and "Gears of War with interactive dialogue" were highlighted as examples of fans disappointed by the strong shooting focus of the second game.

There are three conversations after her loyalty mission before you can get the engine room scene. Topics include her genetic engineering, "this is not the time for love", her respect for Shepard. I don't know if any of these have been made into videos.

My current Miri fic will deal with the romance and it will deal fully with the intimacy involved.  But since I am taking the long and slow burn with the story, it will be a while until the infamous tummy hug.

Yep, saw it. Like you said, I feel a bit more optimistic that they are honestly taking fan feedback in a sincere way. I'm sure ME3 will be great if they stay on this track

Hey... sorry about being sparse.  Insomnia and other things. 

Also, I don't know when chapter 6 will be finished right now.  I had and still have to use the game and go through the dialogue trees for much of the chapter's spoken dialogue.  The insomnia and the other thing is causing me some problems with that.  I hope to have it up today, but... I just don't know.

No, not yet. Hopefully if the plan all along has been to keep the surviving members of your squad, they'll be able to announce it sooner rather than later.

Ok I finished my lastest work. I tried a new style of creating all the shading on the computer and not in pencil. Turns out it takes about twice as long and looks half as good. So here it is anyways

I won't force it.  But I don't want to lose the focus.  I'm just so tired of **** getting in the way of my writing.

And Strikor... I like that 3 min background.  It has an air of mysticism to it that compliments Miri's allure.

I'm curious, what do you guys think of the relationship between Miranda and Jacob prior Shepard? I have not played Mass Effect Galaxy so I never got to see what happened then.
