I'm curious, what do you guys think of the relationship between Mirand and Jacob prior Shepard? I have not played Mass Effect Galaxy so I never got to see what happened then.

I don't believe they got very far. Jacob says "she deserves a better man than I". I think during the course of whatever relationship they had, they realized they weren't for each other. I think ME Galaxy they have champagne together and whatnot, but they don't share much in common.

Honestly, if the backstory between them wasn't there, I never would've even imagined them together. They just seem worlds apart. If I didn't know any better, and someone told me they used to be together, I'd be seriously surprised lol.

They both are more like co-workers or partners if you prefer. They didn't pass the next step of their relationship because Miranda are too focused on Cerberus and Jacob are more like a simple soldier who was hired by cerberus. Also, Jacob didn't even bother to ask questions related to cerberus's motives.

Because he said something along the lines of "It got close, then it got really far apart." That's what caused the confusion. Typically, a bottle of champagne in someone elses personal quarters leads to a bit more than just conversation.

I think the champagne was in a public area in Galaxy.

Either way, I don't think they had sex. I take the "it got close, then it got really far" as meaning "yea, we were starting to really fall for each other, but ultimately there were too many other factors in the way."

Like I said, I have not played Mass Effect Galaxy, so all the info I know of is from what I have heard.

Thank you for clearing that up for me.

Gah....

Uh...I guess I fell asleep earlier o.o around the time Odin was here about 3 pages back. God did the thread wake up.

*wakes up, slugs Lancer chainsaw over shoulder, arms Gnasher shotgun like a golf club* Alright flashy, now I am ready to blight the horde!

Eh, maybe after some more hours of sleep o.0 Im gonna go back to bed. Good seeing those who awoke already, see you all later and take care!

*drops head into pillow*

Very nice, Strikor. This goes into my growing collection of Miranda pics. You're better than about 95% of everything I can find on DeviantArt.
BTW, I've been comparing this with your earlier pictures - I'm not quite sure which I like better. This one is clearer, which can be good or not, and Miranda's arms are better in this one. On the other side, as opposed to your earlier pictures the hexagon pattern doesn't adapt to the viewing angles.

Here's another question:

Do we have any information about Miranda's birthday? I couldn't find anything. And if no, is there any time of the year you'd consider appropriate in a symbolic kind of way?

I'd suggest perhaps an equinox as a birthday - a day of balance, yet change at the same time.

Edit: Got my solstices and equinoxes mixed up.

I would say September, November - February, especially those more winterish months. Much like Miri, there is a hidden depth to winter that many people miss.

Ok I finished my lastest work. I tried a new style of creating all the shading on the computer and not in pencil. Turns out it takes about twice as long and looks half as good. So here it is anyways

And here is it with a crappy little 3min background Image IPB

Glad to see some good quality art. There are too few Miranda fanarts and most of them are ugly.

If you're going for the winter months I'd suggest using the southern hemisphere winter months...

You just made my day! I completely forgot about that, and it solves a dilemma...

LOL. So easy to fall back into hemisphere-centered thinking, even in an SF story.

Hmm. No patience for the whole thing, but playing as Miranda would be nice. Only with the correct voice, though. (sigh) Probably too much to hope for a DLC where we can play as Miranda.
