@ Mr Plow - Hmm, gumbo isn't that bad and if prepared correctly can be sort of elegant as is the same with many other foods. What you said about coke and burgers made me lol and I agree totally though gourmet burgers is possible now a Mickey d's one I'm not so sure. And Dammit you made me want to go buy some lindt truffles

I think you make a good point, jtav. She very well could have tried it when she ran away. I don't think it would be her favorite food, if only for the memories it dredged up, but I could see her liking it at least a little. I think she's far more likely to enjoy a good pizza though. But that's probably my own personal bias for pizza coming into the discussion.

If not that would be a crime.  Nachos are the official food of Mirimaniacs, therefore Miri herself should have at least tried them!

With her superior motor skills and all, being able to wield a knife to do it well would be easy for her. And I suggested that because it seemed like the kind of food she would enjoy eating.

These polls are indicative of character fan acitivity. Not anything else. The only poll approaching something representative was XX55XX's a few weeks back. There, the overall popularity ranking was:
Mordin, Garrus, Wrex, Legion, Tali, Miranda, Thane, Grunt, Samara, Jack, Liara, Ashley, Zaeed, Jacob, Kaidan

Tali polarizes. She has a bigger fanbase than anyone else, but also more haters. Which means her overall populatiry is medium. If I recall my analysis correctly, both Miranda and Tali have very high standard deviations, which puts them in the first ranks of the controversialness list.

I just can't picture Miranda cooking. Not saying she can't, just saying I can't picture it.

Preparing sushi and sashimi isn't like cooking other meals. It's more of an art form. But yeah, if she did, it would only be on very rare and special occasions.
