Well I always like Spacer coupled with War Hero, I feel it gives Shepard a very honourable, heroic background before he sets off to save the galaxy.

Hi fairly new to the mass effect forums and having nearly come to the concluding part of the game, I find that I gotta go back a few saves to start a romance with Miranda! I didn't realise the choices after her loyalty mission played such a big factor that later in the game you get no chance to start a romance with her! : (

Haha..you sided with Jack in the argument? Well, you don't have to go back y'know? You can always finish your current playthrough and start a new one and romance her in that one.  Also welcome to the forums.

Well I always like Spacer coupled with War Hero, I feel it gives Shepard a very honourable, heroic background before he sets off to save the galaxy.

I've become more of a fan of Colonist/War Hero.  He knows what hardships and crap the galaxy holds and he also has the honour and heroism of Elysium behind him.

You gotta find a way to make peace between she and Jack...or side with her over Jack...or you will kill your chances.

So I went through my 4th play through, decided to go Renegade this time. Decided to romance Miranda because my Renegade Shep is human-centric type of guy. When I got to the deal clincher for the romance, I chose "No promises" dialogue option, but somewhere I missed the little kiss that I have seen other people encounter during that conversation block. Did I choose the wrong option for that one?

I know that the Miranda fans will know.

Hey Vamp44, thanks for the welcome! nope I didn't side with Jack in the argument, I sided with Miranda! all that happend was I complimented Miranda well before that situation ensued, but then after a mission or so, I went back to see her and she said she felt confused and I responded what I thought at the time, the right choice by saying : It's nothing don't worry about it, but Shepherd said : "I want to keep things professional..." I was like what? After that whenever I tried to start a convo with her, she always says: Not now I am busy, maybe later...! So I'd rather go back a few saves rather than all the way to the beginning to start the romance! (Who needs Ashely eh? ..lol!)

You get the kiss when you say 'Jealous?' on the previous conversation.

The kiss scene is part of another conversation, where she talks about her genetic engineering bothering her (i think), you have to choose the "Jealous?" option.

Woah my Shep was never even remotely interested in keeping things professional.  He at least became friends with everybody he could.

What sorta weird Shepard doesn't pry into everybody's personal business?

Ah yea, I had that happen to me too. But, luckily! I saved right before going to talk to her.

Hi Valmy,

Yeah I didn't know he would have said that in the conversation when I chose the option: "It's nothing" (or something like that) I thought it was to make her feel more relaxed about me passing the compliment! I was thinking to myself forget Jack, Samara, or the girl in the mask (forgotten her name, she's a quarian, if I got my knowledges on the races right) Miranda is the one! Sexy, intelligent persona about her out of the rest of the crew! So I did maintain a friendship with all members, just for some reason with Miranda it didn't go as I thought it would...hence having to "rewind" a few missions...

Hey, quick question...when you pick the "Are you Jealous?" option does Shepard call her a genetic mutt? I never turn on subtitles so I think thats what I heard...couldn't be sure tho.

Actually I think he was referring to himself as the "genetic mutt the Illusive Man put in charge."
