Depends on the Shepard. While I don't think the dialogue supports an overwrought, melodramic Shepard, he's still largely a blank slate, so it's hard to write Shepard as OOC as long as you keep your facts straight. Of course, then you run into readers getting angry because it's not "their" Shep. But I don't see anything wrong with tears, necessarily.

Yeah, I couldn't quite envision him being RoboShep when he's just watched his fiancée get blown up.

I'd say I'm sure shin wouldn't be able to remain calm if his fiancée died in front of him, but he'd probably just think that means he's now free and available for Yvonne

I wasn't saying that he should be a robot...but sadness =/= boohooing. I still like what you wrote in this chapter, just stating something that was bugging me.

Okay, I've returned from my vacation in Tali fandom and I've returned with some new ideas.

First of all, we seriously need an animated GIF of Shepard & Miri lying on the bed like they have in their OP.

Second, I noticed they have a lot of fan fics posted as discussions in their group. I thought it might be a cool idea for some of the authors here to post theirs and get their stories out to people who might not see them here in the thread or on another website.
And Darth, you may return...I just hope you've learnt your lesson.

My vacation has given me a renewed love for all things Miranda. And just so you know, I'm running a fever, I've got a nasty cough, and my sinuses are filled with something I can't even describe. But it was totally worth it!

Hopefully these will help you guys to forgive me...

The Tali thread averages more than 100 pages a day - how would anyone want to defect there? This thing has more pages than a whole SF trilogy.
