Question for everyone: how I can turn this image into a link to the group without getting the blue borders around the images, destroying my 2-image sig?

The conversation is the first one with Miranda after you get on board the Normandy. I've uploaded it to some free webhost simply because I don't have access to my own hosting at the moment.
Questions, criticisms and suggestions are most welcome.

That's pretty good, gutty47!! A very useful way to get a lot of dialog on one screen, I guess it will be extremely appreciated by fanfic writers who recreate in-game scenes.gutty47 wrote...
I've been working on a rudimentary tree dialogue system so I can transcribe Miranda's dialogue. I'm at the stage where feedback would be beneficial and changes won't be too hard to implement.

This forum is awkward for just about anything. No extended search so you can't find old threads and have to repost stuff a hundred times, too narrow message windows (which I get around a bit with a GreaseMonkey script). The only good thing is that the old Bioware forums were even worse.Jebel Krong wrote...
thanks! yeah it cam out pretty well considering the size - this forum is bloody awkward for signatures...
BTW, where is everyone?

Theres lot of things I need to improve... such as the wheel actually lighting up for the options and removing the spokes for options that aren't there. Readability needs to go up cause the color scheme looks like ass. I need to find out if the way I've seperated the conversation options in the dialogue is useful or not. So many questions?
This forum software is horrible compared to other packages out there but I understand why they've gone for it (security through obscurity). At least its much better than the old forums.Ieldra2 wrote...

Still no clue where everyone goes during my prime posting time.
I haven't been reading your excerpts simply because I'd rather not ruin any surprises that come when the whole thing comes out. I'm very interested in non-romance fanfics simply because there aren't many of them (if any!). Can't wait for the finished thing.jtav wrote...
I'm here, hiding from the other rabid Miranda fans. Think I gave them a heart attack with that last bit I posted.

Don't worry. I think it was a very good cliffhanger.jtav wrote...

Sometimes I get the impression some people here just aren't used to high tension in stories - spoiled by games where there's always an easily-dicovered way out. If stories didn't feature life-and-death situations for our favorite characters, they would be a lot less interesting.

A reset button would be nice, so you could restart the dialog to get the other results of a group of mutually exclusive options. All without removing the existing text on the screen.gutty47 wrote...

Do you mean the ability to just start at the beginning without removing the existing text?Ieldra2 wrote...

nice, and: you can't, because the code embed causes the border...

This one's very good. I also like the anti-troll one but unfortunately, effective troll shield's haven't been invented, so it doesn't work as advertised.andysilv87 wrote...

Shamelessly selfplugging test dialogue tree: http://gutty47.110mb.com/dialogue.php
Need criticism and ideas for improvement.
