No good, thread underequipped to handle medical emergencies.....*breathes deeply* Will have to improvise. I'll need two pennies and the location of the nearest light-socket.

Edit: looks like I'm a bit late, lol.

Wait.  Not too late it seems.

*Hooks Andy up to lightning rod on the roof and waits for a strike*

Come Igor!  It is nearly time!

Thanks Meg, I thought you'd like the crump dance pic. You may also be interested to know that I just finished playing all of the FotC songs on Rock Band, they're awesome!

You guys fail. I just finished reading Frankenstein by Mary Shelley. Igor never exists. Only Victor Frankenstein creates the monster :)

Where do you guys think Shep and Miranda might go on their first actual date? Also, how would the "meet the parents" ritual go for a Spacer Shep?

Anyone else wanna throw in their opinions about Miranda's preferred poetry?

I've found something that suits her very well: Prometheus, by Goethe (German original  --  English translation).

@Darth&Odin: Dont blame me. Blame directors of film adaptations of a book that was perfectly fine without some dumb assistant :)

@jtav: I could see Earth being the first date locale, as I'm sure Shepard and Miranda would appreciate seeing their native world again. As for the "meet the parents" thing, I can't really see anything happening yet, as Miranda only has a father and Shepard has many potential backgrounds. Too vague to consider ATM. Maybe after more story is told.

@Ieldra: Ah yes, very good find and connection indeed. I can see that. Already read Prometheus as a companion assignment to Frankenstein, since both works are similar. So in essence I think Prometheus and Frankenstein would suit Miranda.

I'd like to "meet" Miranda's father with a shotgun! :D

Also, for some reason I can see Miranda "meeting" Shep's mom via FTL comms, like how Shep talked to his mom in ME1... just popped into my head for some reason.

Ouch! Hope you feel better soon Vyn. I'm very impressed you managed to post having just had 2 teeth removed. Image IPB

A singularity enema would be the way to go for Mr. Lawson, in my personal opinion. Provided he's as evil as he's made out to be, of course.

Edit: @Vyn: I agree with Andy, I'm impressed that you are coherent after the operation, my younger sister had them done a while back and I had to carry her to the car. Hope you fell better soon!

Missle launchers are too quick! You can't savor all the little emotions... you see, in their last moments people show you who they really are...

Sorry slipped into nerdom there.

I think we're agreed on both counts. "Prometheus" is actually one of my own favorites, it only took some time to make the connection because I'm thinking in English while on the forums. A strange kind of language barrier, I must say.

It would probably be somewhere on Earth. Somewhere stylish but not too modern. A city with old buildings restored to their original splendour, details depending on how history has treated certain places on Earth.

No opinion about the "ritual". I haven't thought about my various Shepards' parents more than the spacer background made me think.

@Andy: Nothing a little codeine can't fix. It wasn't that bad. This is my third operation and a total of 4 wisdom teeth removed. Never had to be sedated.

@Odin: What band are you talking about? And lol at your sister.
