For the ending, I wanted to capture that sense of relief after a "suicide mission", and I wanted to treat the aftermath as such. For the looove of Miri, Shepard had to "almost" die

I'm seriously considering putting it on youtube. All I know is that Shepard and Miranda came home from work "The military career" and then they started making out and then they went to 'woohoo' and then the next morning Miranda is throwing up and being cranky to poor Shepard. Then her stomach expands and she starts clapping and Shepard is clapping. This is officially what I'm going to start writing fanfics from. I swear, this game is crazy.

Ah The Sims 3... I had some good times with that game until my video card got fried. Now all I can play is Daggerfall and Icewind Dale 2...not that I'm complaining.

I have a few songs that work, but right now Stellar by Incubus is fitting quite nicely.Which is strange considering I haven't listened to Incubus since freshman year of high school...

It's because of the space references, is it? Haha.

I'd say I have a good rock song that'd describe the relationship.. but the only one that would be considered rock is "Guardian Angel" by Red Jumpsuit Apparatus - but that's too slow.

Oriana - do you think Miranda is jealous of her at all? I mean, besides the obvious not having a normal life - do you think she'd give up all her intelligence, fighting skills, etc. - just to get that? Or does she enjoy the thrill too much?

I did speak of an excerpt - and I will deliver;

It took Miranda fifteen minutes to clean, re-stitch, and re-dress the wound. When she had completed the
job though, she wiped the sweat from her brow, letting go a small sigh. Shepard
watched her as she got up and inspected herself – using the aquarium in the
room as a makeshift mirror.

“Well, that was money well spent,” she commented sarcastically on her ripped dress.

Standing, and biting back the pain of his side, he stepped behind Miranda – running his arms around her waist,
“I thought you looked absolutely stunning tonight.”

She turned her head towards him, a smile appearing on her face. She ran her fingers down his arms, finally
resting her hands on top of his, “I don’t think I want another night out for
awhile.”

She turned around slowly – and Shepard caught her in a kiss. Holding it for just a second, he pulled away, and looked deep into her eyes, “I can think of other ways to occupy ourselves,” he said with a smirk.

Slowly, he caught the straps of her dress between his fingers and pulled them down from her shoulders. Pulling her into him, he kissed her again as he unzipped the back of her dress. She pulled away from him as it fell to the
floor.

As much as I think that she wants a normal life, I think she enjoys the thrill too much. Not only are Miranda's and Oriana's lives much better, but now that Mriranda has something else , Shepard both physically and emotionally, I think that she feels as if for the first time in her life that she is at home. I think that she finds a home in Shepard. See, that way I see it is that she was a virgin until Shepard. Call me crazy, but that's how I see it. I mean, she says that she was very cautious and careful, she's an "all business" lady she doesn't seem the type to me to have a one night stand. I feel that since she and Shepard connected on such a level that it means so much more to her than anyone realizes. So, is she jealous of her sister? Maybe, but right now in my mind she is perfectly happy with her man.
