Don't hate Jacob, he started off cool but then got SO boring. The airlock thing is just a running gag here.

If you're going to go with Kelly, I can't picture Miranda going to her for help. Samara mentions that she does well at handling her burdens alone as she should be. Maybe if you write Kelly as figuring out that something is wrong with Miranda and approaches her.

I don't think Jacob ever comes across as a douche. I mean compared to other people like the Turian Councilor, come on now, there needs to be a better explanation than that. I like Jacob but I do agree BioWare made his character more "tasteless" than the others.



Speaking of which, let's hear who you all really wanna punch in the face in ME1 or ME2, and it can't be a squad member. Just any character except squad that you hate so much you just wanna clock them in the face, oh and it can't be people you have an opportunity to hit or kill (i.e. Reporter on the Citadel). I am torn between the Turian Councilor and Udina, since they are the uber douches of the ME universe...

The problem, Mavi, is that Kelly is a complete joke as a counselor. Fortunately/unfortunately for this story, she is also the only person Miranda wouldn't be able to lie to, because she's the only one who might conceivably have access to Miranda's personnel file.

Haha. What would we all think if at the end of ME3, Udina came up with something like "Shepard! How nice to see you!" I can see someone at Bioware putting that in just to see us stare open-mouthed at this impossible event, and try to disbelieve it as an illusion.
