Meh, Miri would seem more likely to detect a skilled 14th century Renaissance Italy Assassin than Ash, I mean she did get ambushed by Geth  I mean shes awsome but, whoa she has vision issues and quite possibly hearing ones as well

To be fair though, this 14th century Italian Renaissance Assassin...let's call him, I dunno, Ezio...as it's way shorter than 14th century Italian Renaissance Assassin, is dressed in a way that practiaclly screams "PAY ATTENTION TO ME!!!! I'LL PROBABLY STAB YOU OTHERWISE!!!"

Well, if you are like me and believe that death merely strips away the limitations and boundaries of the mortal, transient life... then it is the most free.  You are once again boundless: infinite and eternal.

I don't feel limited or have any real boundaries that I don't make for myself in this life so I'm all good with the living part. 

I'd much rather be in this world than out of it... who knows if the beyond is worse!

Note: I might write one more chapter to my fic tomorrow so I can get it out of the way and start writing a novelization/vignettes. Haven't decided yet.

And Nadia... thanks.  I hope you are right.  Let's just say this week is testing that though.  When I first heard the news, the gauntlet was bad enough.  The second and third revelations created a **** storm of emotion: relief, disappointment, shock at the emotion, then anger and disgust, self loathing...

Yes. Lovely. That's exactly the word I wasn't thinking of. The only reason I'll start another one of these things is so I can resolve the atrocity that was the last chapter.

It doesn't feel lovely while you are writing... but when it's done that warm fuzzy feeling swells deep inside.  Well, at least for me. 

By the way... I do like the last chapter.  It's just the sudden dark ending hit me hard given my current state of mind.

No, you're right. It does feel good when it's finished. That last chapter was even more brutal for me to write than it was for most of you to read though. A downside to literally pouring yourself into your writing, I'm afraid. So that's why it's hard for me to revisit that chapter, even though I know the resolution will be satisfying.

No, you're right. It does feel good when it's finished. That last chapter was even more brutal for me to write than it was for most of you to read though. A downside to literally pouring yourself into your writing, I'm afraid. So that's why it's hard for me to revisit that chapter, even though I know the resolution will be satisfying.

I am one of those that becomes the characters as I read or write... I know, I know... totally not healthy.  I'm pushing the limits of my empathy with a DA fic though.  Writing it first person and "feeling" as the character feels... oi, it is brutal.
