Great work! Is that the one you posted a preview of yesterday?

Thanks, and no, they are unrelated, and both just doodles.  It's a coincidence that she faces to the left, really. Or maybe I seriously need to choose different angles

@Kabraxal: Yeah, but the finale had me crying my frakking eyes out.

@Andy: There were a lot of really phenomenal actors in that show. Their casting director was brilliant.

And to bring it back to something somewhat Miranda related..

To be fair...you got off extremely easy, a similar exchange is presented below:

Todd: Hey man, did you eat that hot-fudge brownie I was telling you about?
Steve: Not yet, but I'll eat it if you have a piece of this Oreo Pie.

Not cheesy in the slightest... but then I did just finish that Ashfic that played off that angst....... so I'm probably biased.

I admit I'm feeling a bit like a foreigner in this thread right now. Where's Miranda gone? I have absolutely no idea of what you've all been talking about on 90% of the last three pages.

It's okay Ieldra, Miri's here now. At least in picture, not in discussion. Not yet, at least.

I cried there, but not as hard for the Apollo scene.  Rosalyn always rubbed me the wrong way... but it is an achievement that the show got me to cry for her sinc I hated her for much of the series.

I have to admit the show kinda lost me around the late season 3/early season 4 when it started to get a little weird.  By that I mean what had more or less been a believable science sci-fi up to that point got incredibly mystical all of a sudden.

I did hear about what happened in the finale though.

The show had a huge mystical presence from the miniseries onward though...

There were times I disliked her, but overall I enjoyed her relationship with Adama and the growth she experienced because of him.

Anyway, do you guys think Miranda's sister has an Aussie accent as well? Or her father? Was that his idea of perfection?

Kabraxal, not to the point where people miraculously came back from the dead dozens if not hundreds of light years away from where they'd imploded.

Anyway I think we've diverted away from Miranda far too much, look what we've gone and done...

I'd heard this exact thing about the show from a few people, one of the reasons I haven't got into it yet.

Accents are learned though... I mean I speak with two natural accents: american and bastardised british accent... this comes from being raised all over the place.  So Orianna probably speaks with the accent her adopted parents have.  Most likely the father is Australian or has that accent.
