I can't say I'd prefer him over a real person. I'll take a real life, warm-blooded, broody human over a fictional, icy-bodied, broody vampire any day. I get cold enough as it is. I need someone who can actually warm me up.firecleaner wrote...

Gah. I wish. At least then my clumsiness would have a cure and his name would be Edward Cullen.
Ugh, I hate when girls bring up this dude..... I'm sorry we're fallible. Sore topic with me, girls that I know are always like I wish guys were more like Edward and I just want to go he isn't real. Also do you really want to be dating a vampire? *prepares flame-shield*

Agh. One time mine told me about a guy who came in with his stomach duct taped because it was literally holding his guts in after he had somehow gotten cut open by a crop duster.Flashy91 wrote...
Like when mine told me about the person whos eye somehow ended up in a jar?MegWithAMouth wrote...
Yeah, my mom's also an RN instructor so ever since I was little I would go into her classroom where there are beds full of mannequins and human hearts and brains and diagrams of naked people and whatnot. I know more about some things than I've ever wanted to know. And since she works the ER, I've also heard some of the craziest stories.Flashy91 wrote...
MegWithAMouth wrote...
Yes! My mom can't take any of them seriously. It's pretty funny and it's also a big reason why I've never gotten into medical dramas.Flashy91 wrote...
*High 5's Meg* RN Moms weeee! Do you watch various medical shows and criticize the accuracy of the stuff they do? It's funny we just sit there saying to eachother "Why are we being so critical again?"
I still watch them, I just say under my breath "Thats not how you do CPR" (She's an ACLS instructor also) or "Actually you would go to angio for that" or various other things I've over the years about the Medical world. heck when I was a kid I spent my afternoons in a monitor room lol

Sorry if it seemed I was attacking you, I do know some guys that are pigs/douches so I can see were it comes from. I just don't understand the infatuation and the reason why female friends say these things to the nice guys.
Yea the cold-bloodness is definetly a con.
