As far as I know he is yes. I didn't actually speak to him yesterday since I was offline for most of the day. I'm sure he would be making his presence felt if he were here.

Yes, I have returned from an absence... caused by evil indoctrination of fal'cie and some ****s (FFXIII and Saboteur), but I come back rebuilt and ready to talk all things Miri and ME2/3 related...

Finished it  Very good. Miranda comes across more convincing than I expected. I had written a review on the fanfiction site, but the text was gone after I logged in, and I've got no more time for now. Anyway, only minor criticisms. I like this story very much!

Edit:
I just noticed that Miranda's blindness when it comes to Cerberus is all the more convincing, because seeing the truth doesn't only mean that she has to take some of the responsibility, but also that TIM set her up - adding to the pattern of betrayals in her life.

All right, I'll make it short:
(1) Paragraph 4: "They were nobler than...". I don't think the adjective "noble" fits here, not even for one who is convinced of Cerberus' agenda. And it's unclear who "they" are, except somehow connected to Cerberus.
(2) The time between Toombs attack on Miranda and Shepard's "Enough!" seems a bit long. Some of Miranda's reflections could be moved to another time, perhaps.
(3) Nitpick: there are particles missing in two sentences, I don't recall where.

BTW, do you want to continue this story at some time? I know you mainly wanted to deal with Miranda's blindness with regard to Cerberus, but not continuing it would leave it all somewhat hanging.

As for a sequel, maybe. I have something in mind, but also other projects I'd like to do. I left it open in case I do decide to come back to it.
