All it takes is either talking to girls, at least on forums, and not being an ass.  Problem solved.

a lot of guys have issues with not being an ass, you've seen that on this forum, in this thread even.

and just read some of the comments on that article... bunch of idiots.

women get sold as sex toys more and more every day and I for one am getting really pissed about it.

and the younger generation doesn't seem to have a problem with it.

my niece is 16 and acts like the typical dumb ass girl, flirting and thinking guys/boyfriends attention is all that matters. fails school but passes having 5+ boyfriends a month.

this makes me angry.

the guys will automatically think the girl will show boobs or something or give them her number or add them to her friends list so they think they'll only pay once.

Maybe this is just my naivette and innocence making an ass of me but......... isn't the joy of sex having the partner want to share him or herself because they like you, not because you payed them to?

It's not going to do anything exept make someone feel ashamed that they spent money to play a game with a girl. In all honesty, it's probably so some insecure frat-boy can tell his "bros" that he played MW2 with a 'bangin hottie' and that they 'totally had chat sex' afterwards.

Miranda and ME2 are new enough to me that I really am getting more fanfic ideas than I know what to do with. One of the ideas I'm toying with is that Miranda and Shepard knew each other before the events of the game. At first, I thought having them meet once before would be interesting, but now I wonder if it might be better to go with something long-term. As in a friends-turned-lovers relationship spanning seven years on and off. As in he asked her to marry him, but she turned him down (harder to keep her Cerberus work a secret). Sound like a good idea to you guys? We'd probably get to meet Miranda's dad, and my pet theory of "Miranda was an L2 until she was retrofitted with an L4" would feature heavily.

@Jtav: Hm, I'd find that hard to believe. The only plausible background for Shepard would be earthborn and given what Miranda has said about her past, I don't think she would be remotely near Shepard. Still, I would like to see how it turns out if you do it after Shepard joins the Alliance.

@Vyn It would definitely be AU. What I'm envisioning is that she happens to be on Elysium during the Blitz and helps him out there. TIM figures that this guy is going places, and suggests Miranda further the acquaintance. Turns out they have a lot in common.
