That picture is used particularly because it makes male shep look bad.  I could easily find tons of Miranda pics that make her look creepy to.  What have I proven?  That I can find ugly pics.

I never use default Shep. I can make very good male Sheps, but I have a hard timemaking female sheps >_<

That's strange. It's the opposite for me. Making my second maleShep for Miranda was quite a lot of work.

Only Fiona Lee and Bastila Shepard look good, but I have Chuck, Joshua, Revan, Alistair and Obi and they all look good.

you ever write a chapter and hate it but know their isnt much can do about it. that chapter was so so so hard to write felt so trapped with in the game and hard to add much to it at all. thankfully it all gets easier from now on

My femsheps turn out alright. The mouth is always tough though, and the profile is hard to get right. I really haven't made any malesheps though. I got hooked on Hale's VA and haven't even played the maleshep very much at all.

Yeah I eventually decided if they were going to use him in the promos and so forth might as well use him.  My character's appearance was never the defining aspect for me anyway.  Who the dude is personality wise is far more important.  They could have made us all be default Shep, like they did with The Nameless One in Planescape, and that would be been fine with me.

Like Ieldra, I found it difficult to work up a decent character profile in ME - I'm a lot happier with the ones I've done in DAO, though. Oh, and it's easier to create a decent female than male I've found...

I don't think the console versions have the default Warden so it's always make your own

No i am giving the Tali fanbase a taste of there own medince. I am making bias polls and such, like Tali fans do and they don't like it one bit.

ok, I want to add my 2 cents:



when I first heard about Yvonne giving her voice to Miranda and actually seeing Miranda I was so excited (maybe also because Im Polish, so you know, a little addition from my country to this great franchise).



Then, when we got more of Miranda's actual in-game appearance, I was dissatisfied with Bioware's job. Maybe its uncanny valley, but they (or hm, Edge?) did well with "fight for the lost" Miranda video. I was confused and started to lean towards Tali.



My first playthrough was a complete Talimancer-one. I wasnt really discovering my new squadmates (except for Thane or Grunt). On my second playthrough I wanted to romance Jack, but couldnt have stood her attitude and left this game. I started another one and tried Miranda in my squad after reading she IS the best squadmate (in terms of combat) and eventually I was able to listen to her opinions more often.



Then she got me. It just happened and Ice Queen became Hot Miri, which was so unexpected. I began to listen to her carefully and admire her looks. I still like Tali, but I prefer Miranda now, due to this surprise she gave me. I really started to like her in-game appearance and overall style (her "loyal" uniform is so goddamn hawt, christ...). And she even betrays TIM to stay with you, how cool is that?



Now I know, my Shepard-Commander and first officer Miri will together kick some Repears in ME3.
