when I first heard about Yvonne giving her voice to Miranda and actually seeing Miranda I was so excited (maybe also because Im Polish, so you know, a little addition from my country to this great franchise).

Then, when we got more of Miranda's actual in-game appearance, I was dissatisfied with Bioware's job. Maybe its uncanny valley, but they (or hm, Edge?) did well with "fight for the lost" Miranda video. I was confused and started to lean towards Tali.

My first playthrough was a complete Talimancer-one. I wasnt really discovering my new squadmates (except for Thane or Grunt). On my second playthrough I wanted to romance Jack, but couldnt have stood her attitude and left this game. I started another one and tried Miranda in my squad after reading she IS the best squadmate (in terms of combat) and eventually I was able to listen to her opinions more often.

Then she got me. It just happened and Ice Queen became Hot Miri, which was so unexpected. I began to listen to her carefully and admire her looks. I still like Tali, but I prefer Miranda now, due to this surprise she gave me. I really started to like her in-game appearance and overall style (her "loyal" uniform is so goddamn hawt, christ...). And she even betrays TIM to stay with you, how cool is that?

Now I know, my Shepard-Commander and first officer Miri will together kick some Repears in ME3.

You know, I read such stories more often lately. I think Miranda is a character who takes time to appreciate. For many people. She drew me in because I've always liked characters like her, but in that I've most often been in a minority. It's very nice to see her become more appreciated.

Don't let the cult of Tali know that you switched... they can be... dangerous.

And as much as I get a kick out Miranda's default uniform blow-up butt, I do like the loyalty outfit better. But I'm always torn, do I want her to look better, or be funnier?

I had that problem with my first maleShep. It's really too bad face codes aren't generated when importing from ME1. Some people liked him and asked for the face code, and I would like to put him on the database.

Default Shep? He's OK I guess, but definitely Not My Shepard.

I think that is the primary reason I decided to adopt Default Shep.  Now when I see promos and screenies and so forth I am seeing My Shep.  Makes me happy.
