Funny as it may be to rile up the Talimancers, the potential blowback on us might be...problematic. Also, I should mention that those morbidly obese Tali pics = hilarious.

I'm gonna comment on "with" because that's how it's gonna be for my Shep.

I see it ending like the epilogue of the Jaheira romance in Baldur's Gate II. Miri and Shep will be running around saving the galaxy, usually together, sometimes apart, for who knows how long... don't see Miranda as the "settle down at home with the kids" type.

Without Shepard as her lover... I see her, if Shepard convinced her to talk to Orianna, eventually growing even closer to Orianna and becoming a family with her.  I don't see much love for her in terms of romance though in this scenario.

With Shepard... I see her and Shepard travelling for a bit, both getting used to having someone care for them and being there.  Eventually I personally see them settling down someplace remote only travelling every so often.  I don't know about kids, I can see it but I can also see them content with just having each other.

Oh, I can see them roving the galaxy for a while, however, at some point they're going to either have the kids discussion or Miri's going to get broody. Ultimately, I can see them sorta settling down, probably somewhere where they can feel reasonably secure and have a couple of kids. Once the kids are grown up, they'll probably do the galaxy roving thing again. While the kids are growing up however, I can see Miri being insistent that Shep be around for them. She might have had a lousy childhood, but that doesn't mean her kids will!

I'm here to congratulate you guys on getting to, well soon to get to, 1000 pages. I'm not a Miranda fan, more of a Tali fan, but that's my opinion. But it is good to see the support for the characters in the games. Here's to another 1000 pages for you guys.

Kids.. Hmmh, I am starting to feel unsure about those. I am sure there are more than enough mini Shepard and Miranda's soon with people trying to modify their kids to be more like the humanity's best, brightest and prettiest.:happy:

@Mel - yeah, there will be those that want to have kids like them, but I don't think that will actually feature in Miri & Shep's decision process. I reckon it'll be more like "Do we want kids? Yes/No/Not right now".

Answering my own question:

Romance: Miranda becomes an agent with Systems Alliance Intelligence Command. She needs a job where she feels useful and can use her skills to the fullest. Shep sustained severe injuries in the final battle and works as an instructor for BaaT/Ascension Project/whatever they're calling it this week. They have one child, a daughter. It took several years for Miranda to convince herself she'd be a good parent and should have children. Miranda is gone quite often because of work, so Shepard's the primary caretaker. Miranda tends to spoil her daughter when she is home, compensation for her own lousy childhood.



No romance: See above re: job. I don't see any other characters I want to pair her with. She's really close to Oriana and her family. Her nieces and nephews love her because she tells them stories about all the exotic places she's been.
