When you replay ME2, and knowing Nyxeris true nature, doesn't she seem incredibly creepy, and sycophantic?

Yeah. If you flubbed up the Observer quest, it'll be handwaved away that Liara deduced by herself that Nyxeris was a double agent, and killed her. They're not going to have an important character like Liara die in such an insignificant way.

I'm actually amazed that some people actually think that flubbing up the Observer quest will lead to Liara getting killed. Like I said, they wouldn't have Liara die in such an insignificant way, plus it would also defeat the whole purpose of Liara not being in the squad: so that she's alive for ME3.

Nah, Nyxeris lives if you pick one of the 5 suspects.
What I'm saying is that it'll ultimately be handwaved away, and Liara will deduce by herself that Nyxeris is a double agent and she'll kill her anyway. Whether that will happen in the Liara DLC or in ME3 remains to be seen.

Hmm, well if Shepard didn't warn her first, she wouldn't have saw her coming. So maybe in ME3, Liara will have a battle scar on her face after being back stabbed by Nyxeris as a consequence.
