For a good writer, it's always "easy" to come up with a plot, or at least it seems so the the audience. Then he did a good job. I'm absolutely not saying they should make Liara evil now, in fact if they did so without any chance to redeem her former self, I would probably not buy ME 3 at all. It was merely an example how a drastic change in character can be made to work, and work well. Fortunately Anakin, too, was redeemed in the end, as it should be.

Well, for the way Star Wars was written, it was even easier since the writers already knew what the end result was. Writing back story is always easier than having to imagine everything and come up with the end result.

True Anakin did find redemption in the end, but not before he was able to hunt the Jedi to near extinction and help Palpatine's Empire decimate a good portion of the Galaxy. The price of his redemption was very high.

But at some point someone had to come up with the end result too. That's what you have to do when writing a trilogy. To me, it always sounded that BioWare did have their trilogy outlined. By now I don't really believe that anymore. But they certainly should have. Then they'd have known where to go with Liara too, and it would have been "easier" to write her role properly.

To be precise, I do believe the writers had their trilogy outlined - and I'm sure it was very good - but I think they were forced to make significant changes since.

I have been away from the forums for a bit so I may have missed but has there been any info on the rumored Liara DLC? I figured if anyone would know it would be in this thread.

Nope, no news on the Liara DLC sadly.

There is apparently going to be an announcement of some "substantial" DLC next week, though. Make of that what you will.

Well hopefully it will be about that. I heard the last comic is coming out soon so just maybe. Thx for letting me know

The last comic came out about a month ago (physical release), it's being put on iTunes very soon. I wouldn't hold you breath that the 'substantial' DLC next week will be the Liara DLC, I'm thinking it'll be some new N7 missions (i'm willing to be proved wrong though).

I too have many ideas about my own fanfiction but sadly writen English (which is not my native language) is too big barrier for me to actually express in full scale what's on my mind .

I think I'm finally going to follow through with my idea I had a while ago of doing the line-art of all my upcoming pics. I still have commissions to do, and I'm guessing those who've asked for them are getting a bit impatient with me now - especially considering I still have an online presence.

So expect a big line-art dump later today...
