Again, thank you, great idea with holding off until the "720" so it can use blu-ray and fit all the mass effects.  I'm sure they can find a way to transfer saves from a 360 to a 720, like USB or something.

As for the transfer issue :
I think that they will announce the 360 "slim" at E3 along with their Natal thing . If they want previous 360 owners to 'upgrade", they need to make the transfer between the current harddrive to the new one user-friendly because people are attached to theit demos, XBLA games and gamertags.
If they do that for the Slim version, I don't think it would be too much of an issue to transfer your save files rfrom the 360 to the 720 . It's even a given that the 720 will be able to read 360 games .
So yes they could hold back till the 720 to release Me3

They "could", but it doesn't seem that they "will" . I bet they are going to go the easiest way and release me3 too early . And of course the game will be more short unless they're willing to have 5 DVDs for the game ...

As far as I've heard, none of the big three (MS, Sony, Nintendo) are interested in shifting to a new generation of consoles for quite a while still.  IIRC, they're content to stick with what they have and maybe build upon and enhance it (i.e. PS3 Slim).

Sure PCs can get expensive, if you're chasing the bleeding edge of tech.

But you don't have to do that for either ME game, nor for DA. And if they don't create artificial problems again (like the single core bug in ME 2), I see no reason why an ME 3 that still runs on the same console hardware couldn't run on the same PC hardware as ME 1 and 2.

hey all:)
yesterday while i was trying to post, road workers working one block further cut main underground lines 2nd time in this month! power kept goin ON/OFF all time, i've lost half terabyte of data due to this, contrary to my UPS doing all that it could to stabilise the current.....

Bizzare thing is....when it does, I can't access webpages - but I can still use Windows Mail and Windows Live Messenger..........straaaange...
