Just got to the part where Liara expresses her interest in you. I noticed a little difference between how she talks to Male Shep vs Fem-Shep. With Male, she talks about him more dreamly and interesting, probably because he's a male, which is something completely new to be interested in. While with fem-shep, she talks to her more shy-ish.

I don't know why, but there's a weird side affect going on with me. When I look at pictures and screen shots of Liara, I don't like how she looks at all, and can't imagine why I fell for her in the first game. But when I talk to her and see her in person, I start to grow a crush on her. Her eyes are very impressive.

I have noticed that Liara's animations when talking to FemShep are subtly different. There's no difference in the delivery of her spoken lines, however.

It's in the lines "To understand what made you into the man you are." She says it more in a "umm, you're so dreamy" kind of way. While with Fem, she says it more shy, with her head down.

Huh, never noticed that. I'll compare it and see if I can tell the difference.
After all, I did take the time to compare a LI and non-LI Liara in ME2, to see if there were any differences in her facial expressions. So it's not as if what I'm doing is unprecedented.

It appears the differences for FemShep with the Liara romance have been carried over to ME2 as well. I mean, what with the inaudible whsiper from Liara that's only there if you play a FemShep.

Yeah, I'm liking the more shy delivery then the "umm, you're so... good!". She's probably acting like that because Fem-Shepard is more like asking out on of her kind, except not blue. While Male is more "Umm, you're so... interesting!"

Goodwood just read about the Overlord DLC. He is actually intrigued by the idea, but is leery of how much it'll cost versus how much effort is put into the actual mission(s). Fortunately, there's the old standby of waiting for others to try it out first.

Oh, that's one way to look at it. I thought she'd be more shy with FemShep due to the fear she will say, 'GTFO you're a woman!'.
