The next DLC will be "Waiting for Liara" in which Shepard and companions rediscover Therum and the "newly" unearthed Prothean ruin. At great expense, the Alliance and Cerberus both team up to "rediscover" the ancient Prothean ruin where Commander Shepard first met Liara T'Soni. To their astonishment they find another Prothean beacon. Both Shepard and Dr. T'Soni are called in for this monumental discovery. But then Shepard arrives, Liara has yet to arrive. This 4 hour dlc pack has Shep and companions wile away the hours as they delve into each other's psyche through conversation, laughter, tears and perhaps even romance. If Mordin is in your squad he will sing to pass the time away. Will Liara show? Discover "Waiting for Liara" for just 1200 BW points and find out!
I know you were joking but I'd totally buy that DLC.
Liara better show at the end, though.

It's a great shot. Not only does Liara look absolutely gorgeous in it, but we get to see the absurdity of the ME2 Liara/Shepard romance, more specifically, Shepard's reaction to the whole thing.

Shepard: Let's go.
Liara: We can't.
Shepard: Why not?
Liara: We're waiting for [plot contrivance.]
Shepard: (despairingly). Ah!
That picture of Liara frowning leads to me to ask the rest of you; what was your Shep's reaction to that revelation? That Liara was responsible for handing over your body to Cerberus?
My primary Shepard, being a survivor of Akuze, responded rather violently and blamed Liara for her unenviable position.
- It made the short scene with the photograph prior to entering the Omega 4 relay far more emotional and ambiguous, in my opinion.

I had to find out about that scene from Youtube, since the conversation option is buried in the dialogue wheel. That, in itself, made me angry.
How did the dialogue option make the Omega 4 scene ambiguous?

Well, there was only two reactions. My Shepard chose the 'My mission is important. I couldn't do it if you hadn't handed me over to Cerberus' line. She was not an Akuze survivor, though, so doesn't have the hatred for Cerberus as someone who was at Akuze would.
I do agree that Shepard's angrier responses are sometimes the best ones to choose, as they are better than emotionless

I mean, look at how blase and apathetic Shepard is about Akuze when talking to TIM. Doesn't bother Shepard much there.

Sure, she and Liara were once a loving couple; but Liara willfully passed her remains to the organisation which virtually destroyed her life.
Regardless of Liara's intentions, that trauma is impossible to ignore. At least in my Shep's case.

Any Sole Survivor Shepards who get pissed at Liara handing the corpse over to Cerberus because of Akuze are more than a little hypocritical, though.

I've chosen to ignore the actual dialogue in those exchanges. The writing is so infuriatingly poor I black out and imagine my Shepard shouting obscenities instead.

My Shepard wanted to show gratitude for Laira saving his life.
Instead Bioware forced the reaction of 2 dimensional robotic ****** over me with their new improved further restricted dialogue and roleplaying in ME2, and he said something about her doing the right thing and that "teh mishin" is important.
Edit: Its a shame, because I wanted Shepard to convey some disappointment towards Liara, for her complete lack of trust in Shepard and basically deceiving him.
"My sources said you were alive, but I never believed".
Of course, ME2 was crap for story and dialogue, so no surprises there.

Yeah, but the whole Akuze/Cerberus thing was handled poorly everywhere! The best is when Jacob is 'interviewing' Shepard before Freedoms progress and brings Akuze up. Shepard doesn't call them out for what they did at Akuze? Really? WTF?

I literally yelled out in indignation at that point. It was the first indication for me that I wouldn't enjoy ME2 half as much as I did the original.
It strikes me as though they wanted to introduce newcomers to the franchise without the baggage of the first installment.
Which is absolutely asinine, considering the guaranteed purchases would be the fans of the original.

The only frustrated/angry dialogue choice I can stomach to select is the one in which Shepard loses her temper slightly because Liara is being so vague. It's something like "What's this all about? Can't you just talk to me?"
I do agree though that having Shepard get irritated and frustrated with Liara does make the eventual emotional revelation on Liara's part alot more powerful. I just don't have the heart to get annoyed or angry with Liara, haha!

Bioware couldny let that info ruin that cerberus retcon and TEH SHOOTA!!!!
They needed to get to Freedoms Progress and get some shooting done again as quickly as possible, and spending time grilling cerberus on everything they have done to deserve being exterminated is a waste of shooty time!

I mean, we witnessed first hand how Cerberus hunted him down, captured him and then used him as a test subject for the predatory life forms they were creating.
We couldn't call Cerberus out over what they did to poor Kahoku either!
