I wouldn't mind playing as Liara in another game, actually. Especially if combat is exclusively utilising her biotics, and you don't fire any weapons at all. That would be cool!

Hm I dont know while on one hand a game with playing Liara might be interesting,I have to say on the other hand they have already slaughtered her character enough with ME2 and the comic so that give me the question do I really want that in another game
But in general I wouldnt mind being given the option to play as an alien race in a spin off or ME4

Heh, if I saw an enraged asari charging me with one of those, I wouldn't know whether to fire everything I have into her and have a next to nill chance of dropping her or run for my life and have a slim chance of outpacing her.
Bottom line: in a biotic sword fight against Liara, you'll inevitably lose.
Thats one reason my Shepard loves her.

Yeah, when I say that I think that a game starring Liara would be interesting, I'm obviously making the assumption that they'd handle her character well and do her justice. That is the most vitally important aspect to me!
Maybe they could do a spin off starring Liara in a similar vein to Tomb Raider? You'd play as Liara exploring ancient Prothean ruins, solving puzzles, and evading traps. That'd be pretty cool, plus it would show Liara using her intelligence, resourcefulness, initiative and competance. All vital aspects of her character and personality, IMO.

It'd be especially odd to take control of a Liara dialogue wheel, and dictate what she says. I'm so used to Liara's personality being pretty well defined!

I think thats a cool idea but I would rather them not have the player make choices for liara. i think they should do something like the joker sequence and sense liara can fight it would be more interesting and fun. well i think it beats walking around as a cripple.Erinlana wrote...

Agreed, and that's similar to what I said above. Liara has her own clearly defined and dictated personality, so it'd be odd to control Liara's dialogue and make decisions for her. As I said before, it'd be interesting to play as Liara in a spin-off action-adventure title, in which you explore Prothean ruins, retrieve artifacts, solve puzzles and defeat enemies. That'd be fun!
