Not until we help her finish off her grudge. I think she'd be interested in learning that the Collectors are the remains of the Protheans.

I think all of us Liara lovers throught that when we found out.

To answer the original question: Maybe. Liara's and Shepard's lives have become so intertwined now that Liara may actually briefly abandon her career as an archaeologist in order to help and be with Shepard. She now knows that there are greater things at stake.

I sure hope so, this way we could have her as a squadmate again.

not to mention we would probably get some more lovely dialogue to hear form her and [what is more important{i do not mention romance as it is obvious}] a RREAL Liara to stare at:wub::wub: not just a flat, bad-photoshopped picture...

Thanks for the comments. I intentionally made the story darker as it seems most games shy away from any sort of emotions in your main character or deal with any after effects of blowing up a boat load of people. I am sure within a months time Bioware will completely invalidate my plot foundations anyway, but for a good four weeks I can pretend my story is canon

I have a few darker twists planned, but don't worry.  I assure you Shepard and her companion will reunite in a way that you might imagine two people would after several years...caged heat you might say.

I'm going to start up another Me1 playthrough tomorrow. It's only been like two months since I last played it but I really miss that game.

(Plus, I need my Liara fix ).

As far as we know, her father is still alive, right? Would be nice to meet in ME 3. But then it would be nice if Spacer Shepard could meet his parents too (and maybe introduce Liara to them), and that will never happen either.

Well if BW is looking at all these fan forums like they should be to get player input on stuff, people have posted a lot of what they hope for in Liara DLC. So, it would be pretty hard for them to screw it up, unless of course, they haven't looked at our opinions at all, in which case, yeah the Liara DLC would most likely and unfortunately suck.

The problem with this theory is that even if they looked at our ideas and hopes, we have to remember that we aren't necessarily their target demographic.  We represent their hardcore, roleplaying (as in playing a role, not collecting stuff and upgrading stats) audience. 

As such, we are a niche.  Any dlc they release will have to appeal to a wider audience.  This includes the new shooter fans, as well as all the people who romanced characters other than Liara.

That would mean that even if they release Liara dlc, it could very well be mission oriented with very little depth behind the dialogue or interaction between shep and Liara.  Heck, it might not make any of us romancers feel any better at all about Liara in ME2.  It might do nothing at all to address our concerns.
