My list goes after those with the greatest biotic potential, not their current biotic strenght. If i did that then my list would look bit more like yours (with a few changes).
Well I would say Liaras biotic potential is somewhat up for debate, sure being thaught by Benezia gives you some advantages if that happened and her training wasnt just relegated to some of Benezias servants, but I still doubt Biotic power or potential is inherited through genes, though asari in general seem to have the greatest potential of all races

I say her potential is quite high, considering she's only 108 and is already pretty strong.

Maybe or maybe she already has reached her limit at least until the matriarch stage kicks in,considering what she can do now,if her powers gradualy grow she would be biotics incarnate the time she reaches the late stages of her life:blink:

I dislike that I basically have to "belong" to one of these clans or else I really have no sway on the forums... I have to belong somewhere or else people will not be interested in an in-depth discussion. Is it not possible for a person to like all or none of the squadmembers? It is dividing way the forum way too much IMO and is taking up the campaign quests and storylines forum which I would have thought would be reserved for actual questions about the story...
Of course it's possible for someone to like every companion. If you have something positive about Liara to say or want to discuss her in a constructive way, you're very welcome here. You don't have to "belong" to any "clan". I can only guess that the other threads would say the same, but of course I don't know.
As for dividing the forum, fortunately this thread at least mostly refrains from bashing other characters. What would be the point? But of course the fans of some characters were screwed by BioWare, while others were being catered to. It's only to be expected that this leads to some differences.

I'm sure that Asari gets stronger biotics the older they get. But i could be wrong.

Around the matriarch stage i "asume" Asari are at the peak of thier Biotic skill , but i have noticed while fighting Asari mercs and commandos in thier maiden stage seem quite powerful , so the same can only be said about Liara ..

well you gotta admit that Liara, instead of dancing around half naked in a club or bar, was flying around with shep and training her Biotic skills in life threatening situationsShe also seems to keep doing so in her position as information broker...and also while rescuing Shep.

Well I would say some of the leaders might also be in matron stage like maybe Aria though she might have hit Matriarch by now but also Wassea, since while it is common for Matrons to settle down and raise a family it doesnt mean all of them do it

Here is a hint at upcoming dlc and expansion packs between ME2 and 3. There is a strong hint about dlc featuring the Virmire survivor around 3:00. If they do that, they will def. have stuff involving Liara, imo.
I really think they gonna reveal a big expansion at E3...and that hey turned down the dialogue with the characters so much, to have most of the dialogue in there...maybe also to make sure the fans of those characters gonna buy it

Hm I wouldnt call it a strong hint that they show the picture scene when he says something about developing characters we are are familar with, but thats just me,in any case I'm more wary about what "development" we will get with them may also be the setup to shove them out of a potential squad slot for good, like Liara taking over the SB for example
Beyond that its so far a lot of marketing babble for the new DLC and he really uses the word standalone a lot, just an observation

Interesting stuff, looks like future DLC might take into account the fact that you finished the main game and may have left Cerberus, I find it quite jarring that you get emails from TIM telling you about new items etc after you tell him to get lost.

Well, I'm good at being too optimistic,I was hoping that hint of an expansion (though not in those words) would be referring to Liara. I guess we'll just see, but I am fairly convinced that there will be dlc with Ash and Kaidan in it.
DLC , with Liara as your sqadmate , helping her defeat the Shadow broker and devloping your Romance.. *keeps dreaming*

This does keep me kinda nervous. Take Wrex for example. Sure we're all hoping for Liara's return as a squad mate, but so are the Wrex fans (for Wrex). But (provided he survived Virmire) he's really on a path towards being the leader of the Krogan people, so what are the odds that he'd actually be able to rejoin Shepard? Same thing with Liara. She could possibly be being set up as a successor to the Shadow Broker by the writers (god forbid). And the Virmire survivor might be getting an important position within the Alliance.
We can only hope for the best though. I'm keeping my expectations nonexistant though. No point in getting one's hopes up with false expectations of grandeur only to have them smashed down.
