Thanks Shavon!  I wouldn't get my hopes up, though, just b/c they showed a Shep looking at Ash's pic scene.  Remeber the 'What's on the Horizon?' incident?

Interesting presentation by Mr Hudson. Hopefully I'm not reading too much into it but it seems from what he said that Bioware is moving in a direction with DLC which will evolve into integrating Liara, Ashley/Kaiden into the main storyline when Bioware concludes that just about everyone has played through ME2 ( Guess that means sales plus a few weeks ). At any rate it does appear that Liara is on her way back to the main story which means that some light will be shed on what happened in ME2 and what future possibilities there are for ME3. As much as I'd like to see her return to the Normandy her role as a replacement for the Shadow Broker doesn't preclude a role as the LI in the story, she could still be Shepard's LI as well as the main source of information for Shepard's team in essence replacing TIM. Of course this is just speculation but aside from the Reapers, Dark Energy, Deaf Council, corrupt Alliance and the need for Galactic unification TIM cannot be trusted and has his own agenda so I can easily see him as an antagonist in ME3 similar to the SB and who is there to replace them but Liara.

Well the thing is in the end the squadmates get the most lines and development,besides at least I personally prefer to have my LI at my side instead of having her sit behind a desk on some random planet or something
As for replacements for TIM there would be enough other canidates if he gets kicked out of the story like the council in whichever incarnation you chose,or Anderson/Udina,maybe Admiral Hackett or someone completely new like for example some Alliance intelligence Officer
Though I somewhat fear that "saving" her for ME3 really means pushing her to the side for good and maybe have take up smoking

An acronym is a group of letters taken from the first letters of a phrase, which can be spoken as a word when combined.

Not much possibility of that with "Liara" or even "Liara T'Soni".
