<_<

example: "AAK"
alseep at the keyboard.-_-

im trying to find a new "liara" acronym for a poll I made.

Additionally, AAK is not really an acronym, but more closely related to an abbreviation, since it does not make a  word.

these are pretty good. my first one was "lie in a rat attic" but that had nothing to do with liara.

Is so. NASA is an acronym, after all.

Goodwood would like to see Ms. English Major come up with a better one herself... :P

Yes, NASA is. What you are doing is turning Liara "into the" acronym, which was not stated in the original request...

Goodwood should learn when it's not a good idea to argue with a woman....

Based on what the requestor thought of as "good", Goodwood contends that this was the spirit of the request.

Goodwood does not think that gender should have anything to do with arguments.

Feminism, Goodwood's arse... :whistle::P

I personally wouldn't mind if Liara were not a squadmate in ME3 so long as the relationship can continue and the story is reasonably well written. I roleplay a pretty much max paragon (male) Shepard who has no interest in seeing other women. But as much as he appreciates his time with Liara and values her skills, he doesn't NEED her to always be there in the thick of the battle. The mission is extremely dangerous after all. It already killed him once, and Liara was extremely lucky to have survived that incident. If he had the option he'd really rather keep her out of harm's way. Not because she can't handle herself in combat; clearly she can; but because when you love someone you hate the thought of harm ever coming to them.

Oh but it does! When a woman knows (or even thinks, which is not the case hereImage IPB) she is correct, an arguement may go on for days or weeks! Image IPB

Not having Liara as a squadmate would be awful for me. ME2 was hollow and empty enough without her there, so I don't want to have to go through that again.

Plus, squadmates receive the most character development, and time spent developing their dialogue and the most screentime too. For Liara to recieve proper justice, she'd have to be a squaddie for me.

This may seem off topic, but.. I'm not a native speaker so I really can't figure out how a pimp would threaten his girl for not bringing him enough money. Can someone maybe help me out?^^

Edit: Apparently I killed the thread! :o
Sorry for this..

@ Jack Package A pimp is is a guy who lines up prostitutes for people. If they aren't doing well and bringing in enough money for him, then sometimes a pimp will threaten one of his 'working girls' to scare her, so that she will bring more money in.

Uh, does that help?

I know, I know! It was just wondering HOW such a threatening could look like. I heard plenty of it, but only in German.. I'm not that good when "inappropriate" English is considered. I need a line that could be delivered. Bes thing would be if this line could have "flaying alive" in it.

Good that you answered, I thought that I maybe annoyed you all with my request.

Goodwood knows that the same thing is true for men. Women and men display this tenacity when arguing all the time, whether it be with someone of the same or opposite gender.

I really love that scene. The first part, when Anderson arrives and she gives that sad look and shakes her head is also really good. A very powerful scene. I was just angry that I had Garrus with helmet on, didn't saw his reaction.

When I replayed the ending (Ilos+CItadel) with another squad to see what happens when you let the council die (I didn't like it at all, the poor Asari captain on the D.A.:crying:), I took Tali and Wrex with me to check how they comment on everything (Ilos, The council decision) and in that scene Wrex was the one in front and I could not see Tali at all because he blocked the whole sight on her.^_^
