We've discussed many times how disappointed we were with Liara in ME2. So here's a question: how would you do it better?



I would have done more with the scene where Shepard looks at Liara's picture before going on the mission - specifically, I would have added flashbacks. Some would be to when they had sex, but others would show them just interacting on the old Normandy. A few choice shots:

- Liara is working at a console on the bridge. Shepard walks by, briefly resting her hand on Liara's shoulder. Liara smiles.

- Shepard and Liara are sitting in Shepard's quarters, talking and laughing.

- Liara gives Shepard a kiss before Shepard puts on a breather helmet.



The implication is that during the month or so between the Battle of the Citadel and the destruction of the Normandy, Shepard and Liara maintained a steady relationship.

Just to be clear, Im not anti Custom Male Shep, just anti Sheploo cause his ugly mug gets all the marketing. GRRRRRRRRRRR! I want more N7 cover art or at the very least, art that showcases our team instead of shep. Yep! I love my single solitary Male Shep....while on mute...listening to my mp3 player. I hope to god his paragon lines get better in 2. Hmm, on the plus side Im seeing a part of Ash's personality Ive never seen before as my 5 femsheps.

That would have been sweet.  We have no clue what went on in that month between the end of ME1 and the beginning of ME2.   Even just a flashback to things that were in ME1 (the love scene or almost kiss locker scene) would have been nice.

Afternoon everyone!

Personally I would have made the whole iteraction with her on Illium more meaningful.I mean a 5min conversation on a 20+ hour play through is just dosen't cut. They could make the "rockey" patch with no real reason not to mend the relationship, unless there is something they are not telling us. That being said I liked the idea Les had about the flashbacks and the screen going to Liara on Illium.That seemed  to be very fitting.
