Is there anyway we can remove that black strip, just curious.
I suppose I could imagine sharing...
It's part of a series of four screens I took, though. And my Shep is participant in the other three.
Not quite sure this is the venue for it.

Did anyone ever figure out if the creator of that video is part of this thread?Goodwood wrote...
For great justice...
I would have spent more time searching, but I was really tired.

She used to be, but has disappeared.
I do love that vid, though. Some of those scenes are from the Jacob romance (around 4:31)...now that's dedication! Playing through the Jacob romance just to get a few nice shots for a Liara fan vid!

We've discussed many times how disappointed we were with Liara in ME2. So here's a question: how would you do it better?
I can't answer that question without basically rewriting the whole game from scratch.

Been thinking of just that. Will get back to you on it.

I would have done more with the scene where Shepard looks at Liara's picture before going on the mission - specifically, I would have added flashbacks. Some would be to when they had sex, but others would show them just interacting on the old Normandy. A few choice shots:
- Liara is working at a console on the bridge. Shepard walks by, briefly resting her hand on Liara's shoulder. Liara smiles.
- Shepard and Liara are sitting in Shepard's quarters, talking and laughing.
- Liara gives Shepard a kiss before Shepard puts on a breather helmet.
The implication is that during the month or so between the Battle of the Citadel and the destruction of the Normandy, Shepard and Liara maintained a steady relationship.
Here, take a look at this. They should have done something similar in the actual game:
I've often said aswell that during the picture scene they should have cut to Liara on Illium. It would have shown her stopping working, turning around and standing up. She'd then look sadly up at the sky above her balcony, silently praying that Shepard will be okay. Obviously, the implication would be that the pair are thinking of and deeply miss each other. Would have been quite touching.
Or they could have done things like in that video. If they were short on time for new animation, they could have simply added some old animation.
What I liked about my idea is that it could also be done for Kaidan or Ashley.

Tell you what, though. I wish Shepard would have shown that level of care and consideration for Liara when she was talking to her, face to face.
Particularly when Liara opened her heart, and almost burst into tears.

IMO,even the scene on in the begining of the Normandy blowing up, could have been better. It was sad sure, but there was no loving embrace, or kiss, or anything. Just seemed like Shepard giving orders.

They had a job to do. Shepard needed to maintain authority and not let what ever feelings s/he had interfere.
That one, slightly lengthy stare they share as Shepard says "Liara, go. Now." said everything there needed to be said, I think. Show, after all; don't tell.
Now, the fact that the rest of their interaction is a sorry mess is another story.

You have a point...that wasn't the time to stop for some lovey-dovey time.
