I always wondered why Asari have different breathing helmets to humans and in me2 Samara doesn't need to cover her entire face ..

I'd go with the whole biotic barrier excuse if it weren't for the fact that the lack of helmets seems to be a problem for most of the squadmates regardless of biotic ability.

Which is why I'll limit my squadmates to Tali, Garrus, or Legion whenever breathing helmets are involved.

I think it's because it's necessary for asari to have different helmets in general. If you look in ME1, Liara's helmet is bigger at the back in order to accomodate her head fringes. With that in mind, I imagine asari have their own unique breathers too.

I've never noticed that Liara's breather helmet in ME1 looked different (I thought it was just armor dependent), but I did notice that the back of her helmet is a bit bigger.

Yeah, Liara's breather helmet in ME1 is almost exactly the same as how it appears in ME2, during the destruction of the Normandy.

I do like the look of that armour, though. If Liara is a temporary squadmate in her DLC or a Liara-centric expansion, then I can imagine her either wearing that armour, or a full 3D version of her Redemption armour.

Personally i think Joker get too soft and absolutely undeserved treatment especially in ME 2.

He should root in jail for what he done and not playing offended celebrity because Alliance grounded him....

And honestly fact that he whit absolutely free will defected to Cerberus put him right under TiM on my list of "most unwelcomed Sunday's dinner guests".

And i wonder what kind of Armor Lia wears because he looks like Hazard type armor.

That gif shows how well facial expressions can be presented with the engine. Too bad they didn't really make use of it. Could've told a great story with it. Could've made the Liara reunion scene very memorable. Could've given Shepard personality instead of .

Someone else put it very well in another thread: ME 2 is like playing baseball with a violin - some people will find it "cool", but it's a lot of wasted potential.

'Don't really feel like saying much today, but I thought I'd throw in my two cents here.

I think it'd be interesting to see her wearing Feron's trenchcoat along with her armor.

Why/how would she have his trenchcoat?  Why would she wear it?  We don't need to give the "lol liara loves feron not shepard" crowd any ammunition.

That's a great analogy.

About Joker...I don't really blame him for doing what he did.  It was the heat of the moment and he wanted to save the ship.  He was grounded for it, which I think is fitting, and I don't think he deserved a court-marshalling.

I could rant on about how much I hate joker now, but Ill just say two things:

1. Unless he gets a significant change in character come ME3, if he dies in it, I will laugh and be glad.

2. Taking control of joker and the associated "trip" plot device was one of the worst moments of ME2s all round crappy story.
