It was Mordin, and he alone knew anything about it.. you would think that if an STD was actually going around the ships Doctor would know about it..Chakwas didn't.Nozybidaj wrote...

Mordin brought the scale itch on board....that's why he brought it to Shepard's attention. He figured, Shepard would never suspect him, as he was the one that brought it up in the first place.
Mordin? Really?
No, I think everyone is pretty sure who it was, even if they don't want to admit it.

Who says she didn't? Maybe Chakwas is just more discreet with a patient's personal condition than Mordin is who is more than happy to inform the Commander?
No, sorry folks. It was Kelly and deep down you all know it.

There's also the possibility that someone brought a Varren on board just to keep as a pet.Asheer_Khan wrote...
I really fail to understand this whole "Kelly and the itch" stuff since there are not a single evidence pointing on her.
I think we could alive quite surprise if would turn out that less expecting person on whole ship (YES Mr Moreau... i am looking at you) have him. <_<
...Shepard?

However, my non romance-y piece featuring my very first Shep is coming along just fine. I'm having a little trouble with Liara's face, though, I don't want her to look too cute as to be unrealistic.
And I'm sorry for my brusque and rather standoffish comments yesterday, I was in a bit of a slump. A particularly sucky slump, but it's over with now.
Maybe I'll supply a new manip later today...
And I still kinda want to see Liara in that trench coat...

Regardless, none of my Shepards will ever be catching an STD. Liara is very much healthy, and pure.
Liara could only get an STD from you because you know she hasn't ..."done it" before

On these forums, people complain, and find a reason to complain some more. No initiative to investigate why they might have done it or a way to improve things - just pleading for the moderators to answer their questions for them and saying either "Make it just like ME1!" or "Make it just like ME2!" as feedback.
I wouldn't ask a moderator, I would ask the developers. But from them, there's only been silence. Granted, Mr. Woo said that would change again, but I am very doubtful if we'll hear anything about Liara's role in ME 2. And I'm just as doubtful if we'll hear something about her role in ME 3 that we could look forward to.
As for the "investigating", feel free to read this thread (and if someone from BioWare reads this, you too). We've covered pretty much every possible explanation for what they did to Liara, and while some ideas may make sense, nothing is an excuse for the very bad writing and presentation of her role. Certainly not "b-but, she's going to be back in ME 3." Even though we would of course appreciate that a lot, it was never required to trash her first. You can give a character a short role without trashing them. In fact, if you don't want to spend much time or effort on a character, you should better leave them like they were instead of trying to cram significant changes into a such a short scene.

True, but Liara is the only squadmate now to appear in both games (and the whole trilogy, we can assume) that can't die. Also, both Asari squadmates in ME2 kill one another before the final mission, and both have good reasons to leave Shepard, setting up either a new Asari squadmate or Liara's return.bjdbwea wrote...

That alone says something about whatever BioWare's cooking up for Liara. She has a better chance than the other 16 squadmates.

Looking ahead to ME3, wouldn't it be awesome if Shepard's current LI does stay in Shepard's cabin whilst on the Normandy? I'd love to be greeted by Liara every single time I went up to Shepard's cabin. It would be great!

I was thinking more along the lines of Liara greeting Shepard with a kiss and asking how she's doing, but that picture would be great too.
