No, no catfight. I sincerely hope Bioware doesn't go that route. All the LIs are too mature for that.

Too mature? People kill each other over love all the time, maturity has nothing to do with it. I can see BW doing some crap like that.

I've said it before, but I want those who have cheated on Liara to feel guilty, really guilty. As horrible as this sounds, I want a Shepard that betrays her to absolutely crush Liara, and to leave her distraught. If they have Liara go nuts and attempt to attack either Shepard or the ME2 LI, then I will be seriously pissed. That will just give the cheaters a vague and smug sense of justification for cheating on Liara, and only work to stroke their egos. Liara should quietly react with anguish, before leaving Shepard alone and tearfully excusing herself. The player should feel guilty for trashing Liara.

I don't know . . can you attribute maturity to Jack? And Jacob with his passive-aggressive jibes? I don't think Liara will throw a fit over anything, though.

Who cares? I would rather they invest the resources into making the romance part proper, instead of scenes I will probably not see in my game.

Agreed, Liara freaking out would really go against her personality. I can't see it happening.

Exactly, bjdbwea. I have a Shepard that is ready for the 'scene' if they actually implement it, but I doubt I'll ever see it. I don't Bw will entertain ME2 fanbois egos too much

Of course. Expand and develop Liara's romance in the best way possible, and dedicate as much time, attention and effort on developing it to the standard that it should be, and then worry about the confrontation scenes and the like.

No more planet scanning? No repetitive and ridiculously easy mini games? :(

Those are lumped in with the 8% story...

I don't planet scan anyway, I start a new play and press my magic numpad 5 key and viola! All my resources are good for the duration!Image IPB

And what about outfit customization?? Also what is with the weapons? The weapons inventory took me about 20% of ME 1, then in ME2 there was like 3% maybe of upgrading weapons and choosing them before missions, they can't take it out completely!

I think that would be fair. It's much harder to accidentally romance someone and you can end the relationship with them at any point. You (the player) are deliberately and conciously saying "I prefer my ME2 choice to my ME choice." I still wish there was the option to end the ME relationship before embarking on the new one. Not wanting to replay ME again just so I don't have a romance isn't a moral failing.

I gotta admit, this morning when I woke up I was feeling some *major* antipathy toward you guys. (No, we don't need details.) Thankfully, I got my senses out of the laundry and started focusing on our common ground. What it comes down to is you've gotta stick by the characters you love (and I feel really bad for those of you who are unhappy at the changes in Liara's character--she has been and will continue to receive attention that my favorite character will never have).

So this is goodwill from the Ashley thread. As we say over there (but slightly different), Liara is worth it!

I hope they bring back armour for squadmates in ME3. I don't particularly want Liara running around in combat in casual clothes, or worse if they decide to sexualise her up and have her running around in heels and with her cleavage on display. That'd be awful, and so unlike Liara.

No.... keep unique outfits. Just give liara armor or something. The unqiue armor is IMHO one of the best things of the characters.

THIS!

One of the best things I like about Liara (and it took me a ridiculous amount of time to realize this) is she isn't an asari in the grand tradition of sex appeal; unlike 99% of other Maidens, she isn't getting paid for removing her clothes.

I'm sure Liara (if a squad mate) will have her own unique armor outfit...I can't see her wearing something similar to Samara. Ashley would probably get Pheonix armor for hers. Kaidan, the black Onyx armor....basically what they wear on Horizon.

People tend to prefer the outfits to armor, so I'm guessing they'll keep that.

I'm not into Redemption, but perhaps she could have her old outfit from those days?

They can give each squadmate a unique suit of armour to customise, or something similar to ME1. I just don't want to see characters protected from the vacuum of space by a surgical mask again, or characters engaging in combat in high heels.

Give Liara proper armour, along with Ash and Kaidan.
