With the way this thread seems to be going, I wonder if we will even see page 1200?
Soo...I will try to discuss Liara so this thread doesn't get closed down due to OT'ness.
You guys remember Liara T'Soni right? Most of us romanced her and or enjoyed having her as a squadmate in ME1. Most were dissapoint that we couldn't continue hanging out with the awesome archaelologist in ME2.
Oh yeah, and hopefully we will get some much anticipated DLC news at E3 which is coming up very soon.
Will you guys go crazy if they do not announce any Liara related dlc? I will be a bit p.o'd but at the same time I don't want to get my hopes up.

I will be happy if they bring her back in some good DLC however Im more looking forward to them doing a GREAT job in ME3 and bringing her back as a squadmate and romance ^.^

Bioware is missing an $$$opportunity$$$ if they don't release Shadow Broker dlc. It's talked about all over the place.

yeah i know the wait is going to be hellish however worth it in the end =D I mean cant wait to see how they pull it off there is a lot they can do with it. I think they will do a great job and bring her back into the ME3 as both romance and squad member after all they left clues in ME2 and LOTS of ppl want it to happen so...

Like lord of the rings, it kinda goes unexplained and some things uncertain till the third came out. So there is a lot they could be planing or already have planed that we wont know about till ME3 and why they kept Liara shy of the team and all on ME2. Things do change...which is scary. I sincerely hope they stick to their guns and the future dlc they have planned bridges the gap between ME2 and 3. Stick to your guns, Bioware!!!
Oh and don't forget about the "reward" that loyal players will get if they stayed faithful to their ME1 love interest. Please let it be more than just a few extra dialogue lines.

Ha im sure they will, as I said in my other comment.. only sucky part IS the long wait till ME3 to see if they manage to screw it up or make it the best ever. Im confident they will make the game great, and as I keep saying bring Liara back on the team and Love interest ^^ I look forward to a romance seen just like ME1 was with Liara that cs was great! hope for one like it or even better.

Yep, the Shepard/Liara love story has the potential to be absolutely epic, and very deep, meaningful and very romantic. Lets hope BioWare follows through on that potential!

I agree with what Les said earlier today. I don't really mind the direction they are taking her, I just wish they did a better job of it.
They could have the whole thing planned out, or they could be riding by the seat of their pants. I hope its the former.

Oh, Mirthran? Looking back on what you said earlier, I don't really want us to save Liara again. She's a much stronger and more capable and competant character than that, and I think it would be doing Liara a huge disservice if Super Shepard rides in to save the day. One thing that I did like when Liara deduces that Nyxeris is a double agent and working for the Shadow Broker is that Liara remains calm, and collected, and doesn't ask Shepard to rush back and help her out. She's capable of handling it by herself. If Liara had panicked, and begged Shepard to rush back and save her I would have hated that. Liara is a very strong person!
However, I absolutely love the idea of Liara saving Shepard, or at least rushing to Shepard's aid when she finds herself in a difficult position. How awesome would it be if Liara swoops in just in time to stop Shepard being overwhelmed, and then the pair of them share a passionate kiss? Beautiful!
